Our mission is executed in a simple manner: provide above and beyond customer service, carry a wide portfolio of flooring products, address the flooring needs for DIY’s (Do it Yourselfers), DIM’s (Do it for Me’s), trade professionals and general contractors; but most importantly, doing everything we can do to make Flooring Fun! HM Flooring Group (Legal Name: HM Carpet, Inc.) was founded in 1982 by Hector Montealegre. From the onset, it was your typical family owned business, anchored by transparency, trust, reliability and tailor-made services to all our customers and clients. Gradually, the company grew in size and scope, forming the fast-paced culture and vibrant environment that makes up the HM Flooring Group of today, without sacrificing the much valued family orientated principles. From day one, Hector Montealegre has had one vision: to providing affordable flooring coupled with friendly and personable service. Also, we all know that flooring can be a tedious and frustrating experience, but Mr. HM (Hector Montealegre) was stubborn on creating a more pleasant experience. He was able to create a flooring experience for customers and clients based on human wants and needs; smiles, honesty, communication and friendliness.
