Creative, Innovative Interior Designer & Artist in Richmond

Anna León is an interior designer and artist, currently based in Richmond, Virginia. Anna has been bringing function, style, and a sense of home to her clients ever since her mother allowed her to pick out furniture for their own home when she was 11. Anna studied interior design, architecture, wood working, and print making at the University of Missouri - Columbia, as well as interior design abroad in Florence, Italy. Anna’s design aesthetic is worldly and simultaneously personal. She works with her clients' tastes, budgets, and their own personal treasures. She loves to create spaces that encourage side conversations, dinner parties, warmth, laughter, creativity, and tranquility. Her projects range in size from single rooms to entire homes, as well as plans for landscaping. Anna is also a painter, an Argentine tango teacher, as well as a dance clothing and shoe designer. When she's not working you may find her being creative in the kitchen, or working on her new board game (coming soon!).

I brought Anna in on a new build project in New Kent to help with the lighting, tile, countertops, backsplash, wet bar rack, interior colors and so many more details to get this project completed. She is a pleasure to work with, has great ideas and can whip up a sketch like nobody I know! I highly recommend her!

I am so honored that I got to be one of the original Anna León clients before Haus of León! I am more than proud of the work she produced at our house! Anna's design aesthetic is strong, but she is so easy to work with and takes the client's ideas into the design seamlessly. She is a practical thinker and works through design problems or hiccups with ease. She also 'has a guy for that' for pretty much any job needed which is really nice when working on both small and large projects. I’m excited for what their future holds.

I had several quotes for a new front portico but had all but given up on someone actually understanding what I wanted. Then Anna came, sketch pad in hand, and in just a short time drew up exactly what I had envisioned. She listened to me where no one else had, asked questions, made suggestions, and poof! the perfect portico for my house, exactly as I imagined it. She worked with the contractor throughout the project to keep me happy. I’m using Anna for all my future projects!

When I bought my new place a few years ago, I was a single guy in much need of help with what felt like overwhelming design choices. Anna helped me focus, used a lot of what I already had, and offered a lot of great ideas. Her aesthetic and contributions brought the place alive, all the while making it feel like my own.
