Landscape Design, Consultation, Installation We provide custom residential landscape design and installation as well as work for commercial settings -- offices, restaurants and bars. Our dual-image name derives from our mission to provide beautiful-serene-blissful gardens that invite the owners to come be in the garden, to enjoy the calm retreat after a day in the world, or to take a moment for reflection anytime. The green dragon is a powerful yet benevolent creature in garden lore that inspires the design in a way that promotes protection, prosperity, and dynamic flowing energy. Xeriscaping has become more of a viable option in Austin. In recent years, with the significant decrease in rainfall, and the implementation of water restrictions by the city water department, xeriscaping not only makes sense as a conservation measure, but it saves dollars on water bills. Large turf lawns require more water than any other parts of a typical landscape. Reducing the amount of turf not only reduces the amount of water needed to maintain the turf, but less turf means less maintenance costs such as mowing.

During the past 6 years Blissful Gardens has provided excellent landscape construction, design and landscape maintenance on several projects at my home. Projects include a street arroyo rain garden, screening and flower gardens, as well as raised vegetable beds. Their pruning as well as transplanting is thoughtful. I trust my little acre of gardens to their care.

Amitan and Bill Rose have a gift when it comes to transforming an ordinary and challenging yard into a "WOW! Love your yard!" The plants they recommended and installed have done GREAT, have spread nicely where that was what we wanted, and maintenance is quite manageable by the 2 of us. They secured other very good contractors, such as stone masons who also did fine work. We enjoy our yard sooooooo much more thanks to their vision, knowledge and hard work. THANK YOU, ROSES !!!

These guys are the best. Not only did they design a beautiful lo-impact garden for us (twice), they take excellent care of them as well. They understand the needs of TX gardens including what works best and how to maintain them.

We hired Blissful Gardens for a design consultation. BG was wonderful! We wanted to xeriscape our backyard ourselves and had no idea how to begin. They listened to us and designed a beautiful xeriscape for our backyard. BG sketched the plan, including exactly what plants we needed, the exact quantity and types of stones/gravel, and where it all was supposed to go. They even advised us where to buy everything. We wanted to build a second deck and had no clue where to put it. BG knew exactly where the deck should be located. It was pure genius! BG knew where our dragon would be too. All this in a couple of hours. We had a wonderful plan that we could install ourselves. Blissful Gardens was well worth the consultation fee! We highly recommend Blissful Gardens.

Blissful Gardens created our garden several years ago. They included a beautiful path, a zoo garden for our young children, and focal points throughout the yard. They were impressively flexible with our desires, working with the preexisting elements we wanted to keep and coming up with alternatives in the (very few) cases we wanted to tinker with something in their design. We would happily work with them again--but love our garden too much to change it now. Highly recommended.

Amiten did an excellent job planning and executing a design for a small courtyard. He showed up, followed through, and gave us a lovely space for relaxation. I highly recommend his work and plan to use his service again.
