What characterises me as a designer is simplicity; functionality without too many details. I love a clean graphic look, and proportion and balance are paramount to my designs. The material needs to be challenged and the composition of the materials is very important for the choices I make. Good design for me is when things make sense. Every single detail has to be perfectly thought through. It has to be functional and stripped of any details that don’t have a function. A simple expression with a proportioning that creates a sense of balance.
