Bob Yanni with JB Home Improvements is creative, responsible, timely and lives up to his quotes! Bob did some work for me 10 year ago and I was in need of his services again on my mothers home. I don't live in the area so it's difficult to find a contractor that you can trust to get the job done! I would recommend Bob Yanni with JB Home Improvements time and time again! He's great!

Our guaranteed 2 week bathroom remodel of our only bathroom took over 7 weeks to complete. It turned out nice, but the process was grueling. Our project manager Bob, does good work, but can become verbally aggressive when questioned. Not fun!

Thank you so much for your review we appreciate your feedback on how our team can improve. The bathroom renovation on your 1950's home was longer than originally expected. The timeline of (2) weeks was for the original bathroom remodel plan discussed at the first job walk. At the project start up meeting a complete re-piping was added to the scope and we failed to communicate to you that the timeline for completion would be affected. There were a few other bumps along the way. The hot mop did not meet our standard so we had it redone and the tile sub was delayed. Nearing the end of the project you requested the addition of a tankless water heater. We adjusted our schedule and diligently worked to complete the project. From our conversation since you have expressed that you are happy with your new bathroom.

That said, from your review we failed to communicate the adjusted timeline and that added pressure to everyone. We regret you were intimidated by Bob's high energy personality. We do take your criticism seriously and out team will be more thoughtful of the stresses a home owner has during a renovation. We apologize that you were unhappy with your experience. The team at JB Home Improvement will work to do a better job in future, learning from your review on how to address our clients when things don't go as originally planned.

I engaged JB Home Improvement to do extensive remodeling to my home which extended over a period of six months. Hamid was easy to work with and provided detailed estimates of the cost of repairs we mutually agreed on. The work was done efficiently and professionally and generally within the time budgeted for its completion. I would not hesitate to wholehearted recommend his firm to anyone in need of home repairs. We hired them to remove a wall to open up our Townhome in Scripps Ranch. Job took a little longer than expected but weather may have been a factor along with City Hall dealing with the permit. I thought Hamid and his crew overall, did an outstanding job. They were able to accomodate some last minute requests by the customer and Hamid is a very personable guy. He went out of his way to save us some money by consolidating some of the permits. The prices weren't to bad for the most part. The only major complaint was the smoking and cigarette butts left on my driveway. One of the other gents came on a little to strong to suit my taste but that was at the beginning of the job and I never saw him again. The architect's demeanor could use some polishing as well. Job ended well and we are happy.

JB Home Improvement swiftly and effectively came to my rescue after a water leak left my Oceanside rental house in shambles. Many companies protest to be “reconstruction” experts but thankfully my first call was to JB Home Improvements, who was my trusted contractor when I remodeled two years ago. They have been in San Diego since 1979 with years of referrals for full service design, construction, remodeling, custom painting and reconstruction. Hamid was able to immediately provide guidance and schedule a team of skillful tradesmen to expertly perform major drywall repairs, rebuild kitchen cabinets, filled gaping concrete holes, ordered and planned flooring/baseboard installation throughout the house. His team expertly moved the process forward while keeping aligned with our tenants daily schedules and needs. JB Home Improvement’s communication and professionalism was outstanding. All my emergency work is happening at a fair and reasonable rate in a condensed timeframe. JB Home Improvement excel in both a planned and unplanned environment which is very reassuring when the unexpected happens. I have used JB Home Improvement for many years and projects. Whenever I need work done I do not hesitate to contact Bob and Hamid. My recent project was a complete remodel of my Mothers house including a complete new kitchen. Hamid and his company did an excellent job on the renovation of our guest bathroom. Neighbors and family have commented that it looks just like one of the bathrooms you would expect to see in a model home. Kudos to JB Home Improvements for a job well done.

Working with Bob at JB Home Improvement on several projects was one of the most professional jobs I have handled. His crew and experience they all brought made the job go so smoothly. Bob is organized, timely and knows exactly what to do and how to do it- I would not hire another team.

A friend recommended JB Home Improvement. I chose them because they provide disability access for combat wounded troops for the VA. My old kitchen was gutted and a new one was built. The workers were very respectful and followed all the twists and turns as I changed my mind about one thing or the other (This was my first home renvation experience and I had a lot to learn). I under-estimated what it would cost but fortunately had the funds to complete the project. I was so thrilled with the kitchen I continued with using extra granite for a new guest bath counter top. That looked so good I had to upgrade sinks, faucets and countertops in other bath/vanity areas. I recent had a New Kitchen Party and received many ooh's and aah's at the improvements. It was a pleasure to work with JB Home Imprpovements even though I was quite anxious at times. His partner, he and his workers were very patient. I know the contractor's phone number by heart. I have recommended him to other people who have been satisfied. I would definitely hire him again, and indeed, I have a bathtub that needs to be replaced, but that is another project for another time.

Hamid and his associates have done work for me for over 20 years. My daughter has used him as have several of my real estate clients. All give him rave reviews. He's honest, polite, gets the job done on time and I'm always confident when I refer him to others. His work is excellent and his price is fair. I can't say enough good things about Hamid. He is heartily recommended!
