Recently moved, and Guy coordinated dissembling of existing Rakks shelf system at my old place and expansion/reassembly at my new place. He was a pleasure to work with and accomplished everything flawlessly Jesse, who did the actual system takedown/reassembly, was super competent and accomplished everything perfectly. Purchased Rakks bookcase a few years ago from Guy at Shelf Shop Guy. I have moved twice since then which has required the disassembly/reassembly of bookcase. Guy is professional, responsive and resourceful and has been so helpful whenever contacted.

Guy has helped me with several jobs over the years, most recently in early 2022, ranging from a few shelves to an entire wall of floor-to-ceiling shelves and cabinets. He's been terrific to do business with! From design to installation (or DIY guidance for small things I've done myself), he understands what you're trying to accomplish and helps you find the best way to do it. He's also really responsive, patient with dumb questions, and good at explaining options and considerations. I've been thrilled with the systems he's set me up with and we get lots of compliments about them. You will be glad you chose him!

We have used Shelf Shop Guy for two Rakks installations. Both experiences have been great start to finish. Guy is an excellent, friendly communicator and provides helpful insight during the design process. Project timelines were clearly conveyed and delivery/install remained on schedule. Jesse’s installation job was clean and precise. Rakks products are versatile, functional and super sturdy. We were in need of shelves to support very heavy books but didn’t want to weigh down the room with clunky, thick shelving. Since the shelves and hardware are aluminum, we were able to create an almost floating effect in our small home office. Guy was also able to contract a custom desk top and file drawer to fit our shelves using Forbo furniture laminate for the desk top and drawer facing. I could not recommend more highly!

We have had our shelving for about 13 years and Guy has moved it for us twice. We also bought new shelves and everything was installed in a timely manner and with the utmost professionalism. If we ever need more shopping, we will call him immediately!

Guy and his team are great & super nice to work with. Also very understanding and genuinely I could tell they wanted to do a great job and gave our project the attention it needed. We had to make some adjustments as well, and they were very supportive to come back and help us fix it. We love our shelving system (its so strong you could climb up it if you wanted to).... Guy did a fantastic job of helping us plan, order, and install a wall of bookshelves. We were working with him long distance, and things couldn't have gone more smoothly. He is easily the most responsive person we've dealt with during the process of getting a new home up and running, answering questions quickly and clearly. And he was a patient, calm guide with useful tips as we two non-professionals installed the system he got to us quickly and without glitches. We recommend him highly.

We highly recommend Guy Campbell and Shelf Shop Guy Inc.! Guy was very knowledgeable about all shelf systems and has so much experience. He always returned phone calls and emails promptly. He spent a long time to explain details of the project. We had a particular look we wanted and he really helped us achieve it. Our project was somewhat halted from the Covid 19 pandemic but Guy kept in touch with us and when it was safe, the bookshelf was installed in a professional manner. We have another project and we plan to use Guy's services again!
