Sage Kitchens

Working with Susan provided two things: a great kitchen and a great working relationship. She worked seamlessly with me and with the architect to ensure the vision I could see but not always describe on the first try was the end result. She cheerfully iterated on things, saying "It's better and cheaper to move lines on paper than it is to move cabinets on the floor." Her suggestions were uniformly thoughtful, creative and implementable in the budget we had established. When she said something would be done by a certain time, it always was. And when it came time to deliver the cabinetry she provided, her installers worked well with the team my general contractor had established to get things synchronized and installed. She knows her stuff, is a delight to work with, and provides a world class product at the end of the process. My project was the "dream home", and I don't intend to build another one, but if I were to try it again, Susan would be on the team.

Our kitchen was dated (@ 1990) and in dire need of an upgrade. We hired Susan to help us with the design of the kitchen because it needed a new floor plan, appliances, cabinets, island, hood vent, floors, countertops, backsplash and so on- a full overhaul. What I appreciate the most about working with Susan is that the end result is exactly what I want but didn't quite know i was looking for...Susan did. I told her the "feel" I was going for and she nailed it. The kitchen is so fresh and peaceful and relaxing. Its classic. It is highly functional and smart in its layout. It fits our style and is now the inspiration as we work on other parts of our house. We have 3 children under the age of 5 and it works so well for all of us. We spend the majority of our time in the kitchen and there is no other room in our house that is more "us". Susan was personable, straight forward, professional, insightful, and creative. She was so easy to work with and accommodated our needs exactly. I would absolutely refer her and use her again. (I have included 1 photo of the "Before" and 1 of the "After" )

I have had the privilege of knowing and working with Susan for many years now and can honestly say she is one of the best in the business. She pays great attention to the details, which as we all know is what makes or breaks a project. She's not only a great designer, but she's a terrific person as well.

Susan is a complete professional and takes clients through the design process with care. She is on top of every revision and pays attention to the details, which are everything in cabinetry. Sage carries a really nice combination of manufacturers in several price points which gives clients many choices and options to meet their needs. Susan's understands the home's design concepts and uses the cabinetry and kitchen design to enhance the project.
