Our specialty is built-in cabinets customized to enhance your house or business. We build and install cabinets where you need them, whether in your kitchen, bathroom, office, or sewing room. We also make free-standing sewing furniture, including a variety of sewing cabinets and craft tables. Our goal is to provide you with cabinets that make organizing easy and sewing a pleasure. Gristmill was started in 1998 as a small woodworking shop in New Holland, Pennsylvania. Jason Nolt joined the company in 1999. Gristmill focused on producing high quality wood products and offered two basic sewing cabinet styles. In 2001, Jason began managing the company. He continued to expand the specialization in sewing cabinets as well as custom sewing and office furniture. In 2005 Jason became owner of the company, and the next year he moved to his current location in Bethel, Pennsylvania. Today Jason has one employee, and they work side by side making custom built-in cabinetry, sewing cabinets, and other custom furniture from hardwoods such as oak, cherry, maple, etc. With custom furniture, the options are almost endless.
