A Green Roof and Specialty Exterior design, build, consultant, and maintenance company. Green Roofs of Colorado is a commercial and residential green roof design, installation, maintenance, material, and consultation company founded in 2006. We provide materials, design, and installation of high quality green roofs that protect the roof and surrounding environments, and our maintenance programs allow the vegetation to thrive. We have completed jobs in throughout Colorado. Some of our premier jobs include Denver Botanic Gardens, Clyfford Still Museum, and Anschutz Health and Wellness Center green roofs. We consult and give presentations to design, construction, and policy professionals about the design, installation, and benefits of green roofs throughout North America. Green Roofs provide numerous public and private benefits including mitigation of storm water and reduction of Urban Heat Island Effect. They also increase energy efficiency, biodiversity, aesthetic value, roof life, and property value (existing and surrounding properties).

I can not recommend Andy and his staff at Green Roofs of Colorado enough. I had an aging rooftop deck on top of a garage in the capital hill area of Denver. Andy brought in Dave Sloan Construction to work on the parts of the garage that needed to be rebuilt because of water damage. Dave, Andy and their crew were friendly, very skilled, on schedule and provided great advise and expertise. They replaced the rubber membrane and installed a Bison pedestal system with EPI pavers. The deck is beautiful and a great extension to our older home. Andy advised and designed the corten steel planters along the edges of the deck. They are wonderful addition with the ability to have plants year around. Andy and Dave were a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them to anyone planning a rooftop deck.

I have worked with Andy Creath, the owner of Green Roofs of Colorado for years, installing green roofs all over the Front Range. His prices are reasonable and his experience grows constantly as he continues to research and discover the new and most effective trends in the green roof industry. Andy is responsive and a great problem solver. I would recommend him to anyone.

Andy was a lot of fun to work with. We were delighted to learn that he had a huge role in building the green roofs at the Denver Botanic Gardens, and our confidence only increased as we watched our roof garden "grow" from a space covered by a blank rubber mat to a lovely garden with herbs, annual and perennial flowers, vegetables, and red raspberries. See the photos of our project under Boulder - Norwood. If you are a homeowner (or larger-scale property owner) and you are contemplating the installation of a green roof, please contact Andy. You will be well rewarded.

Green Roofs of Colorado, and Andy in particular, are a very professional, accommodating, and friendly company. They installed two green roofs on my house in Boulder, and the whole project was done with a minimal amount of fuss, working in with the construction schedule to get things done smoothly. Andy is very knowledgeable about the varieties of plants that do well on these roofs, helping my wife and I to create the look that we wanted in a healthy system. If I were installing a green roof on another project, I would without doubt hire Andy and Green Roofs of CO to do the work.
