First time homeowners, we brought Sara in to help us transform a traditional, dark home into a modern, light filled, Scandinavian-inspired space of our dreams. We'd not done a single home improvement project before and did not know where to start. We needed to update a bathroom, redo all floors, figure out a better layout for the kitchen, get the whole house painted and decorate with new furniture. Sara immediately envisaged ideas we would never have dreamed up. She brought in a team of collaborators to help us complete all aspects of the project, on time and on budget. She understood the aesthetic we wanted as well as our design goals and quickly worked to make that vision a reality. She had tools that made it super easy to communicate with her on decor selections - and was always mindful of providing a breadth of options for any ask. On the few occasions where we needed help figuring things out with one of the other vendors, Sara was able to quickly step in and assist with success. She was sensitive to our needs and budget always - understanding where we would and would not be willing to invest more. Home sweet home in NJ! After meeting Ms. Yengle over 10 yrs ago, I said to myself one day she will be designing my dream home. Fast forward my wife and I put down a deposit on a new home and my first phone call was to Grace & Chaos. I didn’t even bother contacting another designer, I knew she was the one who would take our vision and make it happen. Now came the first meeting with Sara & my wife who instantly felt a connection. The next day we hire Sara to design our modern country home. FYI; Sara came on board before we hired an architect...it usually happens the other way around. She immediately went to work setting up preliminary design meetings before we even closed on our home! Honestly the process was incredibly smooth working with Sara and her vendors. She was so proactive we had ZERO delays when it came time to purchase the fixtures, tiles, countertops, appliances etc. Here preplanning weeks in advance was her secret weapon. My wife and I said we would do another renovation in a NJ minute with Sara. She brings this unique calmness to the project and her attention to detail and follow up was simply incredible. Ever since I started my business, a goal of mine was to have a physical office outside of my home. This year that dream came true and I knew I would need some professional help setting it up with a design that represents us and our brand. A quick Google search connected me with Sara. Sara did a fantastic job with my apartment. She was able to determine the perfect design aesthetic after a brief meeting and also managed to incorporate my existing furniture to minimize cost. Not only did she fix my storage challenges, but she made my apartment chic and a place I can't wait to entertain in. Plus it was all very affordable.

When I bought my first house, I wanted to be sure that it was a place that I enjoyed relaxing in, entertaining in, and living in. After a few conversations, Sara provided incredibly precise guidance on how to arrange each room, which colors matched which textures, and how to turn my new house into a home. She made sure that the relaxation areas were actually relaxing and that the flow of the furniture provided functionality and style. I would have never been able to come up with the color patterns or style guides that Sara provided for me. Sara was amazing with her color recommendations for our house. We really needed her help as we were repainting the entire interior of our house. Looking at paint chips is overwhelming. Sara was able to look at our cabinets and interior design and picked colors that are stunning. We couldn't be more pleased. Not to mention her impeccable follow up and professionalism. When we (Grey Sky Films) moved into our new office space in 2012 it was blank slate. We wanted to create an office space that was conducive to our creative agency but also be experience for our clients. We wanted to go for a WOW factor for ANYONE that walked in here!
