Golden Key Designs was hired for our interior design and construction management. When we brought GKD on the project they immediately coordinated with contractors/plumbers/electricians and had quotes and start dates within the week! Not only did they come prepared with a design portfolio of ideas that would work within the space but they made an effort to really understand what we wanted and our styles. After discussing our ideas and vision they always had a suggestion that made it even better. GKD used forethought that saved us money during construction, and will increase our ease of life once everything is done. GKD also uses a perfect blend of practicality and aesthetics that other people don’t bother to think about. GKD genuinely cares about your home and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a designer!

My husband and I purchased a home in New Orleans. It was a great price, but hideous inside and out. Built in the 60’s it had never had any updates. We had the house gutted and replaced carpet and painted. That was a huge improvement. It was then Lindsey and her marvelous innovative style came into the picture. First she encouraged us to paint the red brick and red mortar white. Not just any white. She chose the perfect white and hired the crew to get it done. We have never looked back except to say, “thank you”. Then she tackled a very small 3/4 bath on the main floor. She had us penny tile the whole room. Amazing, stylish and practical is my comment. Still love it today. We are working now to give her a budget to redecorate the main floor. Hopefully by fall I can let you know how it went. I can only give her 5 stars and can’t wait to see her next creation.
