My husband and I hired Gina to help with the design aspects of our beach house remodel. Gina had been highly recommended by our architect and justifiably so. She did everything from putting together proposals for finishes, designing custom cabinets, to selecting furnishings. She has an in-depth knowledge of construction and worked closely with our contractor through all phases of the remodeling work. Gina is incredibly organized and she became in addition to the designer the de facto project manager, making sure that orders were on time and ready when needed. With Gina's help we realized the beach house family retreat we dreamed of. We highly recommend her.

Gina has the rare combination of creativity and highly tuned organizational skills. She creates and executes with equal competency. Her attention to detail has caught more than a few gaffs by others on our project. Yet, her warm personality makes her a great collaborator. She is so appreciated by the contractor and architect as she has the ability to meld their interests and needs. Best of all, she is fun to work with!

My husband and I built a home in Carmel Highlands, California and without hesitation, we would recommend Gina Spiller to anyone who is in the process of building a custom home or undertaking a major home remodel. Gina joined “our team” early in the construction process and provided an extensive and invaluable wealth of ideas, knowledge and resources. I was initially intimidated by the sheer scope of selections and details that were needed to create our home. From the beginning, Gina was committed to making the experience both enjoyable and rewarding. She carefully guided us through the myriad of decisions with her project management approach and also kept her design ideas in line with our overall construction budget – which was extremely important to us.

Gina Spiller assisted us with the remodel and redecorating of a newly purchased home in Pebble Beach CA. Her services were invaluable! She is a creative and very skilled designer but brought a practical and economical approach that was very beneficial. She created solutions to every need, was always accessible and took charge of the project while we were still living in Southern California.. She was tasked with finding contractors, choosing new, warmer paint colors, designing a wall unit for a 80" TV (adaptable up to100") scaled to the size and style of the room, choosing new and re-designed window treatments and creating an especially fun bedroom layout and bedding for grandchildren. And she is continuing on to assist with exterior landscape design. We are so comfortable in our new home and appreciate Gina’s touches every day. Plus, she is fun and personable! Janet B. Owner Manuel Hidalgo has worked closely with Gina Spiller Designs on many custom cabinetry projects over the years and wanted to say that Gina is a fantastic, organized, detail oriented designer. She is exceptional to work with and appears to have excellent working relationship with all of her clients. We realize it can be tough to be in the middle of large or small projects but Gina has that ability with much ease so clients can feel comfortable and informed along the way. We have had the immense pleasure of working with Gina designing and building our home on the Del Monte Golf Course on the Monterey Peninsula. Gina was invaluable in helping choose everything from driveway pavers to laundry room cabinets. Gina listened to all of our ideas and addressed them all, offering multiple options and vendors for everything. When we were told by local stone companies that we couldn’t get the stone we wanted for a 10ft kitchen island, Gina found exactly what we wanted, in the size we needed for less money within an hour’s drive. She has impeccable taste and is incredibly easy to work with. She is professional, talented and on top of every single detail. I will continue to use Gina Spiller Design for all of my future design and decorating needs.

We had the pleasure of working with Gina over a 2-year period designing and building our 11,000 square foot home in the Arizona Biltmore area. We are the proud owners of the "English Country Manor" featured in her portfolio and a day does not go by when we don't marvel at the intricate details and classic design concepts that Gina designed for us. She was easy to work with, creative and most importantly, listened to our wishes and input regarding what we wanted. We have built several homes and we wanted this one to be different. Gina went to great lengths to offer materials and sources not typical of Arizona homes. She had the ideas, but also provided the detailed drawings and specifications it takes to bring those ideas to life. My wife and I are happy to offer a recommendation for Gina's work and hope that you will enjoy working with her as much as we did.

My name is Brieann Martinez, I am with The Home Lighter Inc. I have worked on several projects with Gina Spiller. Gina is always a pleasure to work with and is very detail oriented. Her ability to bring all professionals together to reach a well designed goal is phenomenal. I am always provided with a schedule, measurements, and all pertinent information to my related area of the job. When design aspects overlap, i.e. lighting and cabinetry, or lighting and plumbing; Gina makes sure each area has had a chance to review, before making final decisions with clients. Each job I have been asked to work on with her has run very well from start to finish. I have highly recommended her to clients looking for the assistance of a designer in the past, and would not hesitate to recommend her again in the future.

I have enjoyed working with Gina and her clients over the years. She raises the bar. It is such a pleasure to be a part of her professional approach and the way she engages her clients into the process of material selections. Gina took my drab ranch house and turned it into a showpiece. I get so many compliments from all my friends because not only is it beautiful, it's also very functional. Gina will stick to your budget and has no problem shopping at any store, be it a designer-only store or Marshalls! Gina is down-to-earth and so easy to work with. She becomes an instant friend and seems to be able to design what YOU want, not what she wants. She completely decorated our front room, dining room including rugs and a new table/chairs (which took a large chunk of our budget), entry way and drapes for about 22K, including her fees. When she takes on your project, she has a vision and understands how color, texture, style and lifestyle all work together to make it work. I can't design a thing and when I suggested items that really wouldn't work, she was very kind in telling my why she didn't think it would work...and if it did work, she figured out a way to use it! Gina is a GEM!
