Girasole Sonoma

Robert has excellent instincts about design and plant selection. We needed to remove our lawn and replace with a more drought tolerant design. We spend 50% more time in our new backyard.

Girasole Sonoma is wonderful for both design of outdoor living spaces and knowledge of plants and landscaping. Robert designed our new hardscaped outdoor living space in the back yard at our home in Napa. And, since he is a plant expert, he also designed in the front yard to remove our grass and an old sprinkler system and plants and planted drought tolerant plants and a modern drip system. Robert is very friendly and cost conscious, working within the budget that you provide to him. For the landscaping portion of the work, we ran into an unfortunate glitch with some of the ornamental grasses in that my dogs were eating them (which Robert could not have anticipated). He graciously came over with replacement plants and our yard looks beautiful.

Girasole Sonoma has been an instrumental partner in transforming our Glen Ellen home. Work has included design and siting of a 40x15 pool, design of significant board poured concrete walls and a grand staircase, a large raised bed planting area, low-water plantings throughout the property including many olive trees, installation of a multi-zone irrigation system, and design and construction of a custom built steel pergola. We have loved working with Girasole Sonoma since 2013. Girasole Sonoma is flexible to work with and always available to answer questions or discuss our ideas. As plantings continue to mature we are so grateful for the vision Girasole Sonoma has realized for our home. We look forward to continuing to work with Robert and Girasole Sonoma and cannot recommend highly enough.
