I highly recommend GF Woodworks. I hired them to complete a project for me last year & they did a great job! Matt & Dan were very professional, hard working, knowledgeable craftsmen. I had them install baseboards in main area of house. They trimmed out 4 entryways with molding. They added crown molding & applied picture frame molding in my dining room. It all looks beautiful! They did a great job & I highly recommend them!

GF Woodworks is an OUTSTANDING finish Carpentry Company for any professional carpenter work you may need. Matt & Dan are both top notch consultants and carpenters. They guided & consulted us through our difficult Coffered Ceiling project. Based on what we wanted, and the restrictions of our room, they provided a fantastic solution and a beautiful end product. The quality of their work is second to none, as they have provided a very high-end coffered ceiling, that has increased the value of our home, and kept all costs in mind when they were planning and constructed this "art work". I joined houzz, searched through photos of woodworking and was excited to find that a professional who did work I liked lived up the road. They are new to doing work with residential people and usually work with contractors. We paid for materials and labor per hour. My home is about 75% done and we are pretty happy with the results so far. Compliments include great ideas and problem solving (created room dividers, walls aren't straight/how to get moldings to fit, etch), great clean up at the end of the day, and that Matt and Dan are professional on the job site (no cursing, no private phone calls, no other clients visiting the site, no subcontracting). They are also both nice guys and we shared a lot of laughs and dog stories. Issues include not knowing when they are going to show up or leave each day, lack of keeping track of time on job and communicating where you're at billing wise since we are billed by the hour, and Matt was not receptive to quick decision making. We also had to ask several times for design ideas (over a period of weeks). We look forward to finishing up the job (new stair case, 2nd floor crown) in the near future. I have a lot of photos to add but was limited to 4. Painting is underway now (no, we aren't keeping a yellow lower wall).

They have completed numerous projects for my company over the past 15 years, from new construction finish trim/cabinets to elaborate built-in bookcases and entertainment centers.
