I worked with Gary for quite some time after our home was ravaged by Hurricane Sandy. My projects became so overwhelming I did not know where to start. Working with Gary save me from making many mistakes. Gary broke down each project step by step, stayed on budget and captured not only the essence of the house but honed in on exactly where my vision for the house was. I did not want a "cookie cutter" type of home and Gary did not give me one. I cannot thank Gary enough and I look forward to working with him in the future. He always stayed within my budget and was an absolute pleasure to work with

Very unprofessional. Strongly recommend you find a different designer who can assist you and not only be concerned about his commission. Do yourself a favor and find any one else and save yourself and lot of time and heartache.

Gary Marc Designs has done an amazing job helping us design various rooms such as our bedroom and den. We are extremely picky when it comes to layouts and color schemes, but they were able to work with us in picking out colors that matched our floors and furniture as well as colors that flowed nicely throughout the rooms. They really listened to us and took all of our ideas into consideration when designing the layout of our rooms. I can't stress enough how professional they are and how happy I am with the work they've done. I absolutely loved working with them and will definitely be hiring them again in the future.

I recently moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and I really wanted to decorate my home fitting my new location. Being a single male I didn’t have the foggiest idea of where to begin. A good friend of mine recommended Gary and told me that Gary would be spending a couple of weeks with her as he loved the Santa Fe area of New Mexico. I got in touch with Gary and while he was visiting here we went shopping together. He has a great sense of color and pattern design. I didn’t think that many people back east really have a feel for the southwestern décor but Gary pulled it all together. I was able to purchase a dining room set that fit the design I wanted and the artwork purchased in Santa Fe was absolutely amazing. Beside the fact that Gary was here on vacation, he also combined his time with work and it all paid off for him and myself.

I needed to redo my kitchen and bathroom, they were in good condition but they needed a facelift. I did not want to spend a lot of money for this. He came up with some ways we could save my kitchen cabinets. He was very easy to work with and it was great to shop for appliances with him. He asked questions I would never think of. I purchased my refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and built in microwave through Gary and he passed his discount onto me. I strongly recommend Gary Marc Designs to anyone looking for a decorator. I was referred to Gary Marc Designs by a friend who hired Gary for a bathroom renovation. My Manhattan apartment’s bathroom has limited space. I was living with a pedestal sink and round toilet since I moved in ten years ago and I was never satisfied with either and wanted to upgrade. When the toilet broke, I decided it was time to do these upgrades. I wanted to replace my round toilet with an elongated toilet and the pedestal sink with something that had functional drawer storage, would look elegant in my bathroom, and was a solid piece of furniture. Definitely a designer’s challenge in my smallish NYC bathroom. My concerns included finding the proper elongated toilet that would suit a 10 inch rough-in and a vanity with drawer storage that wouldn’t take over the space in the bathroom AND would work with the existing plumbing. Gary worked one-on-one with his plumber and installer. Some slight modifications had to be made to the unit on-the-fly to mount it to the wall, but we picked a vanity that is rock solid, looks great, and is highly functional. I was amazed at the creative solutions Gary came up with to resolve some of the challenges that presented, including the top drawer not fully closing at first due to the placement of the faucet hose. Gary thought on his feet and got all of the problems fixed. He told the plumber exactly what do to. I would have not been able to this without Gary - he handled everything. I give him a huge endorsement and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a decorator.

My husband and I bought a house in East Meadow about 2 years ago. We came across Gary's ad in the local paper and contacted him for help decorating our home. From the start, Gary was extremely professional. He knew we wanted to stick to our budget and did not push us to stray from it. Initially, he helped us choose paint colors for each of our rooms, which we absolutely love! He chose the perfect country colors for our home. We then updated the bathroom on the first floor and made a powder room in the basement, all with his help. He didn't spare a detail. From the tiles, to the fixtures, to the vanities, he totally understood the style we were going for. His contractors were also very professional and neat, which was very important to us. Next, we used Gary and his team to finish the rest of the basement including Sheetrock, high hats, carpeting, window treatments, etc. We couldn't be happier with the way it came out. Gary then helped us choose furniture for our office, bedrooms, basement den area, dining room and living room. Once again, we are thrilled with his choices. Finally, we had Gary help us revamp our kitchen. We kept the cabinets, but refinished them. We also bought all new appliances and fixtures with Gary's guidance. He also chose the perfect backsplash, countertops and flooring to match! I would highly recommend using Gary for any of your designing needs. He is extremely personable and professional. He just "gets" your style and helps you make the right choices to fit it.

I interviewed a few different design firms for the job I need completed. I wanted my apartment redone from top to bottom. It really needed a new look and feel. After speaking to various people I chose Gary to do the job for me. And I could not have made a better choice. He was so professional and so detail oriented which is very important to me. He presented to me colors and fabrics and tiles and various different furniture ideas. Everything JUST worked and came together beautifully. I am beyond happy with how the job was completed.
