“Our apartment structure was ready to be handed over for interior works to begin, and timely, we found Garima. We knew what we wanted but needed someone to execute and show direction. Garima amazingly did just that right from the start! All that we were thinking of was already seen in some of her works, then in 2018. The exciting parts in the project was to see how the curved false ceiling would turn out, or how the laterite wall would be, and finally, the cemented floor would look or feel. Although, I think first time for Garima, she executed perfectly well! The project saw a lot of challenges through 2019 and then two years of COVID but with Garima around we managed to sail through every hurdle. My favorite place in the house is the kitchen which turned out really nice after the big swap ”

Our brief to Garima after our brainstorming sessions was to help us create a space which accentuates the product, bring nature inside out and a sense of prevailing calmness for patrons to absorb the art on display within our cost budget and timeline. Since the structural space was by and large in place and we were not keen to change it materially; her innate sense of design, lighting and color was instrumental in making small but key changes to bring the desired outcome. She was always ears to understand our thought process and helped us articulate the look and feel we were aspiring for which made the Studio K- Clay a personal space of an artist where patrons are welcome to see/buy the art, participate in workshops and spend some time to absorb the vibe. We are glad that Garima and Freehand Studio took up this passion project of an artist and helped us create our dream space.

Throughout the course of refurbishing, Garima displayed a high level of professionalism, experience, dedication and commitment to quality. Garima did a excellent job of managing the team working for her. (Something that is a major challenge in Goa). I had the opportunity of having sneek peeks while the work was underway as I lived a block away. I must admit Garima clearly visualized the big picture and that the final outcome was "Awesome". I am certain that I will use her for my next makeover. Well Done!!

Now a days, it’s very rare to find someone who really cares and love what they do. I was lucky to have had Garima handle the refurbishment of my apartment from start to finish entirely without my presence. The communication between us and the execution of the work was excellent. Many times she went out of her way to handle things on my behalf as I couldn’t be there. I am glad that I trusted her sense of aesthetics. The project budget was maintained even though sometimes I was tempted to go overboard. Maintaining the timeline was bit of a challenge in my apartment as it is in a running resort hotel and needed to respect the guests’ convenience and comfort. However, the timeline was maintained. My wife and I are really happy the way the apartment was turned around, and we just love every bit of it. We have nothing but great thing to tell about Garima, she is really top notch!

Garima worked on a project with me back in 2014. I had acquired a 1BHK with a large rooftop terrace close to Palolem Beach in Canacona, South Goa, which at the time of purchase was extremely rudimentary in terms of set-up and finishing. After a few brainstorming sessions, Garima set to work. I cannot praise her enough in every aspect of the project. The planning, execution, and finishing was immaculate, not to mention the excellent sense of quality with which Garima carried out the project. Bathrooms and kitchen were completely redesigned, and under her careful scrutiny, every element of the flat came together as a wonderful whole. I have nothing but lauding words for this very talented, flexible and conscientious interior designer.
