Galleria Lighting & Design

We bought track lighting and a ceiling fan from Galleria. They do not stock anything so it took 3 weeks to get them which caused us to delay the installation process. They suggested we should use an extension rod for the fan and recommended one that was twice as long as needed based on the ceiling height I gave them. Once the contractor started installation and realized the extension was too long, I took it back to switch it out. Galleria does not stock accessories, so I had to go elsewhere to get the correct size. When I tried to return the extension, they told me they do not accept returns for accessories, which is not stated on their invoice ANYWHERE. After complaining to the manager, he said he would accept it back, but the restocking charge (which was stated on the invoice) amounted to 85% of the purchase price. We spent over $600 with them and they want to nickel and dime us!! Moral of the story is buyer beware of this business.

We did a complete remodel of our house and planned all our lighting with Don. He took the time to go over our blue prints and explain what lightning we needed for each room. He did this before we ever looked at buying a fixture. He then patiently made excellent selections and let us look as long as we needed. We bought almost all of our fixtures from Galleria Lighting and Design after comparing prices at other lighting stores. Don is a pleasant, patient and very knowledgable man and a pleasure to work with. While we worked primarily with Don, the rest of the staff was also very helpful.

Don has been absolutely terrific. He is knowledgable, helpful, and stays on top of orders. I am an interior designer and I can't rate Don high enough.

Our office was in search of a specific light. I called around to several places, their prices were out of range. I called Galleria and Don helped me get the light at the perfect cost! When the light arrived, the bulb was broken, I called up Don. I went in and he gave me two bulbs at no charge to replace the broken one. He is knowledgable and east to work with. Don goes out of his way to make sure the customer is happy.

Don is always very helpful and knowledgeable. The Showroom is very nice and has vast selection of options that you cannot find anywhere else. I am never disappointed with my visits to the showroom.

We needed lighting for most of the rooms in our home, and Don offered us not only information about different brands and relative pricing but suggestions about suitably of different types of lights in specific spaces. Don’s follow through was excellent as well, making sure our lighting was delivered at a time convenient for us. Plus - he returns phone calls in a timely manner!

Galleria is a fantastic professional partner and we have worked with them for years on projects ranging from budget conscious to very high end. Love their website and search engine, very efficient. Their customer service is great! Very prompt service from my sales rep, easy scheduling and quick turnaround for deliveries, etc. Helps me do my job. If only every trade partner were so easy to work with.

I found working with Don Peterson at Galleria Lighting to be a great experience. For me it was the first large whole house package I had taken on, and Don was so helpful in pointing me in the best direction for the needs of my client.
