We contracted with Steve to replace the Lippert "Three Seasons Doors" on our toy hauler RV. We'd converted the garage to an office and music room, but living in Texas the room becomes nearly unusable during the heat of summer, and pretty chilly during winter. Steve replaced the plastic wall with a rock solid set of french doors, finished out to look as if they were part of the original RV. I wish the rest of the RV was built as well as the new one. We also had Steve build us a beautiful little deck for our front door. Steve suggested some ideas and colors to match our RV, and then worked with us to come up with a custom design that really stands out. The finished result is amazing. We've gotten a lot of compliments from our neighbors. Steve's work is very professional. He is skilled not just in the construction aspects of the job but also the design aspects. He recommended various design ideas and helped us pick out those and the paint colors and construction options that tie in well to the existing interior and exterior. Working with Fresh Ideas was a delight. They completed all the work within the time frame we had discussed up front, even extending their stay a day to do some additional work we asked for. We could not possibly be happier with the work that was done, and the finished result.

I've used Fresh Ideas Home Improvement for two separate projects and both were a success. Both projects were on time, within budget, and the workmanship was top notch. Both Steve and JD make the daunting task of home repair/improvement seamless and enjoyable. The first project included a total remodel of our master bathroom which included shower demo, tile installation, and counter top replacement. For the guest bathroom, Fresh Ideas painted, installed bead board, and replaced the shower door. We also had our daughter's room painted and craftsmen style wood work installed. Our most recent project included another bedroom paint job and a faux wood wall install. Anytime we have guests over, they rave about the quality workmanship and overall design concept. Both Steve and JD provide excellent direction throughout the project and won't leave the job until you are satisfied. They never leave unwanted waste and always clean up at the end of each day. I would highly recommend using Fresh Ideas for your next home improvement project and I can honestly say I will continue to use them for any of our home repair and improvement projects.

Our first experience with Fresh Ideas was with Steve. Even though we had a specific design in mind, he helped us with additional ideas such as rope lighting on a ledge and a chandelier above the soaking on a dimmer for ambience. JD and Tony were in our house every day but everything was cleaned up by the time I got home from work so we were never navigating a mess. By the end of the project, we had new tile everywhere (including all the way up one wall over the tub and radiant floor heat), granite countertop, sinks, mirrors, lighting, towel bars, paint, adult size toilet (highly recommended for comfort), and a custom storage on the countertop. JD and Tony were very respectful but funny and interesting. I enjoyed talking t them at the end of each day when I got home from work. JD went over the day and what to expect the next day so we were in the loop. The project was estimated at 4 weeks and was finished in 5 weeks. What else is new in construction, right?Would I hire Fresh Ideas again? You bet I would.

Steve at Fresh Ideas has done many jobs for me. He is always conscientious and an absolute perfectionist about his work.

Contact person Steve is totally detached from the job site (he's in another state) and doesn't come close to doing a proper budget, his "blueprint" dimensions don't add up and he has no clue how to do the work. Main contract work is very good, with Tony and JD doing good work even though JD is too busy bidding other jobs to be on site much. Subcontractors (tile especially) really are so poor Fresh Ideas gave me a refund and had to redo the tile shower twice. That doesn't begin to make up for the poor quality overall job we ended up with. Now that the work is complete, Fresh Ideas won't have anything to do with us because we are "disgruntled". We can't get them to fix little stuff. Wish we could post the photos of our job with the gaps in the doors and the wavy crappy tile work. Hire them, Yes, but Watch them and document daily or they will sneak stuff by you. And don't ask for changes!

I highly recommend Fresh Ideas! They've done all kinds of work for me around my house and also put up Christmas lights, and every time the work is done just the way I want it.

Stephen did a great job and was on budget the whole project. I would recommend him to anyone needing home repairs.

Last year I purchased a home that had not been updated since 1982. Pink shag carpets, dark wood paneling, awesome wallpaper on top of even more awesome wallpaper..you get the idea! I contacted Fresh Ideas Home Improvement about installing 2200 sq ft of wood flooring. Steve came over, we had a great chat about what I wanted to do and timelines. Steve was very professional, but at the same time, very personable and easy to talk to. The work was completed on time and looked better then I could have hoped for. Steve even completed two small tile jobs in my bathroom at a last minute request (aka..I decided I didn't want to do them myself..haha). Loved the use of creative spaces in the kitchen, especially the pull out drawers for pots, pans, lids, etc. I also liked the brightness of the kitchen and attention to architectural details. My house is almost 100 yrs old and I can see how some of these ideas can be easily incorporated in a renovation of my kitchen in keeping with the period style of my home.
