Great sales meeting, very knowledgeable. Even better install. When they came to Islam talk, they had made an error in calculating glass block size, explained how it happened, and said they’d reorder material and get back ASAP. In just a few days they had replacement product and installed very quickly and professionally. We will be getting a new door soon and these guys will have our business..

We first discussed having Fred Daues install windows in our house when we went by his booth last October at the St Charles Home Show. Fred recommended the Elements triple pane Soft-Lite window for our house. We did some internet research on the windows and also discussed them with a home remodeling friend of mine. The Soft-lite window received great reviews and from what I was told they are probably one of the two best windows made. Fred and Brian came out to the house, measured the windows and gave me a proposal for replacing 27 windows. My wife and I talked it over and decided to have the windows installed in January after the Holidays. Approximately four days later, six plus inches of snow and freezing weather, Brian and his son had the windows installed. Amazingly, they did the job without leaving a single clue that they had to contend with the snow and mud outside. Our hard wood floors upstairs and the white carpeting downstairs were spotless. The windows look fabulous and the temperature in the house is comfortable. The house was always cold and drafty with the old windows. Now it's comfortable and when we open or close the doors we feel the house seal shut. Fred didn't pressure us at all to make the sale and in retrospect I almost wish he had since we considered holding off until spring. We are now discussing with Fred replacing the exterior doors. We love the windows and highly recommend Fred, Brian and Masonry & Glass Systems.

The service was excellent from start to finish. The salesman was knowledgeable, courteous and he provided sound reasons why his product and company should be my choice for block windows. The salesman explained how the windows would be installed and the amount of time the project should take since I was having five windows replaced. The installer arrived on time and completed the project as promised. The workmanship and the finished product are outstanding. There was very little clean up for us to do after the job was completed. Without reservation I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the market for glass block windows.

Fred daus was absolutely terrific. We had looked at 4 other companies and none compared with his level of professionalism, quality of product, knowledge, and price. The process occurred just as explained to us. The sales end was a honest, no pressure approach. The final results were better than we expected. The window installers were prompt, courteous, experienced, and efficient. We can't thank Fred and his team any more for everything!

In the fall of 2012 I contacted Masonry and Glass systems to provide and install a new exterior door for my basement. This entailed a removal of an existing door and fitting the new door to the existing metal frame embedded in the foundation walls. Fred Daues, the company owner, was the direct contact for this service and he provided an easy explanation of what this project would entail and he worked up a very accurate and acceptable bid. The project followed the time line Fred had estimated. And the company installer was very professional, thorough, skilled and competent, and friendly. I am completely satisfied with the service and product provided by Masonry and Glass Systems and recommend them highly. When the need arises I would utilize their services again.

I had them install glass block windows and vinyl windows in my dairy barn and basement. The work was done quickly. They cleaned up everything and the pricing was fair. I would highly recommend them.

I have used Masonry & Glass for two major projects recently and have just signed a contract for the 3rd. The first is door replacement. They were very helpful in doing an assessment of our needs so we could select the right kind of door for the environment and style we were looking for. We valued their expertise but they were not afraid to give us their opinioin, which was very helpful to have someone who does this for a living give them their opinion. I really hate when you ask and the answer you get is, well it's a personal decision. They were a great help in that regard. During installation, they found a problem caused by a previous remodel which caused a delay and additional work on their part to fix the issue. They were respectful, courteous and came up with solutions (to OUR problem) very quickly and professionally. Project #2 was in conjunction with a kitchen remodel and again I would reiterate the same things i did before. Expertise was awesome, great ideas and suggestions about product and what we needed. We had sun issues in our kitchen and the product we got has reduced the heat and glare from the morning sun. We can actually sit at our kitchen table now and eat breakfast!! Project #3 is replacing the rest of the windows in our house. Whenever they come out to measure or do the work, they call ahead, they meet their time commitments and they are coureous when are on site. We could not decide on what to do with the basement windows - glass block or sliders or combination. Again, i got some great information from the sales person on the pros and cons of both and we came to a great solution for our needs. I can't wait to get my windows installed - they will also reduce sun exposure and keep out the current drafts that creep in during the cold winter nights. Obviously i would recommend them, since i went back two more times to use them.
