i had a hickory table made, the original table top delivered in January 2019 was not level. i contacted them and they rebuilt the top and delivered it at the end of February 2019. in the summer of 2019 i noticed the board beginning to crack. in september i noticed cracks were not running down the full length of the middle boards. i emailed them twice and did not get a response. i then wrote a facebook review to which i received a phone call asking why i left a bad review with out contacting them, to which i replied that i sent multiple emails. the call upset me because of the way i was being spoken too, in a very angry tone. he said he would make it right, and for me to send the images via text. i sent the images and video and i was told the they would bring me a new top in 4-6 weeks. at the 6 week mark (dec 12, 2018) i get a text saying he was sick for a week and was delayed, then a whole month later (i didn't contact him cuz it was over the holiday weeks) i get a text saying he will not be replacing my top since he had already made two trips (not my fault that the first table was not level) and how they don't warranty against splitting. i am upset because he waited till now to tell me this and not i have a table that is completely split on almost all boards. for the price of this table i would not expect this especially in less then a year. i have attached some pics of the original table, the cracks, wish i could attach all but the limit is 4 images.
