The Kitchen and Bath Studio

I'm not one who typically spends time to review companies, but The Kitchen and Bath Studio is deserving of the best review possible. I met with five contractors that were all highly reviewed on the Internet before deciding on The Kitchen and Bath Studio. The Kitchen and Bath Studio stood out for several reasons: (1) my master bathroom project was important enough for Dan (the owner) to meet with me multiple times before I selected them (other companies just sent a project manager to take measurements and give me a quote); (2) Dan was able to take me to a project he recently completed to see his team's work; (3) he had no problem with e-mailing me the design before I signed anything (other companies required a deposit before they would e-mail renderings); and (4) his pricing was very comparable to the other companies. In the end, I was so pleased with my decision. From the start, Dan directed me to various places to select material and had very good input on design/product selection when I needed it. Dan regularly came by our project to check on the work and ensure that we were happy with the progress. We were living in our house during the renovation and his team did a great job keeping the rest of the house clean throughout the renovation. They laid down drop clothes and mopped any dusty floors at the end of every day that they worked, which was important because we had a toddler crawling around on our floors. I was also very particular when it came to tile selection/cuts (which is why I needed to see their work in person before hiring) and his guys were meticulous. They even swapped out some of the carrara marble hexagon tiles that came in 12"x12" sheets because they were a darker shade of gray than what I preferred. To top it off, his team was very accommodating as they repainted our walls a second time because the first color I chose ended up being too light once it was on our walls. On a side note, I recently had an issue with my kitchen sink (NOT installed by his team) and contacted Dan only to get a good referral for a plumber. The kitchen sink/garbage disposal had nothing to do with them, but within an hour, he scheduled to come over the next morning with one of his guys and they took care of it. This reiterates what great people Dan and his team are! I would hire them over and over again! In fact, I have another project coming up and am glad I don’t need to interview other contractors because The Kitchen and Bath Studio is my go-to contractor for any project going forward.

Dan and his crew did an excellent job completely renovating our master bath. The fact that we hired him again a month later to redo our hallway bath pretty much says it all. Dan and Ray were incredibly patient with all of our indecision and really great in helping us plan out the project. The implementation was also excellent. Aside from being very skillful, Dan's crew was as nice as they could be, and very careful about protecting against dust and damage. Both of our projects were delivered on time and on budget, and the cost was very reasonable. Dan was very responsive to all of our questions and concerns. Couldn't be happier.

Doesn’t it seem like everyone you know complains about their contractor during and after a project? We were expecting to do the same. But Dan and his team are the real deal! Dan listens. He responds promptly all the time. His team is knowledgeable, careful, exact, clean, kind, and they do not waste time - they completed the project exactly on deadline! Our project was a major kitchen renovation that included a raised ceiling, new walls, and somehow perfectly installing a new hardwood floor to match the existing floor. They also solved a crazy plumbing issue that 3 other contractors told us was unfixable and that we would have to live with it. Dan said, “We will fix this for you.” And they did. Dan called me the day after the project was complete to see if there was anything else that needed attention. And he called again a month later to ask the same question. Who does that?? Dan and The Kitchen and Bath Studio in Gaithersburg are top notch professionals who are a pleasure to work with. We are already planning our next project. HIGHLY and sincerely recommend.

We are very pleased and delighted with the work, Dan and his crew were very easy to work with and dedicated to providing us a finished product that met our expectations He took the initiative, even at some cost and trouble to himself, to solve problems that arose from a supplier we had selected. Kitchen & Bath recently finished our complete Kitchen rehab project. It went amazingly well, We are THRILLED beyond belief. Broke down a wall, enlarged everything, new cabinets, new flooring, countertops etc. The entire staff from Dan (who did the design) to every employee was a pleasure. The nicest & most competent project we have had done in our 25+ years in the house. Cannot recommend strongly enough!

I hired Dan at Kitchen and Bath Studio to completely renovate a home built in 1973 that I bought. His team completely gutted the kitchen including knocking down a wall to enlarge the kitchen. They took four bathrooms down to the studs and rebuilt them from scratch, completely finished off the basement, and painted the whole house. Nothing about the house is the same as prior to the renovation. Dan and his team were great to work with. They answered any question we had and provided guidance in picking the many design choices we had for the house. It was a complete home renovation that was completed on time and most importantly on budget! If Dan ran into any hidden issues ranging from wiring problems, lack of insulation, to rotten floors he simply fixed the issues at no additional cost. What you see in your estimate is what you pay which in this day and age is very refreshing! The stress of renovating a 1973 home is bad enough but Dan helped alleviate most of the stress with his attentiveness and attention to detail on our project. He was available all day and night via phone or text. And once the job was complete Dan is always available for any questions or to come by and fix anything. He stands behind his work and will make sure you are happy with the finished project. I would highly recommend Dan and his team at Kitchen and Bath Studio! I already have recommended them to my neighbors and a few have already hired them to renovate their homes.

After having used The Kitchen and Bath Studio for my newly renovated kitchen's backsplash, I then hired them to paint my entire first floor of our home. Their work on those projects prompted is to hire them to renovate our master bath. Their design sense steered us in the right direction and their attention to detail, budget, our time was flawless. The project came in on budget and two weeks ahead of the projected estimate. Ask for Dan Lindner, the owner. You'll be glad you did!

I have had several rooms remodeled by this business and each one was fantastic. Great crew that works fast and efficiently. Dan is very talented, experienced and above all just a great person to work with. Cannot recommend them enough.
