First Quality Interiors

Do not use this company. We contracted First Quality Interiors to install laminate flooring and to carpet our stairs. The floor was installed April 28th. The installation was sub-contracted and our baseboards were chipped and our walls and doors were scuffed. They also installed a damaged transition piece. The carpet was out of stock so they returned to install it on May 19th. They didn’t have the stair nose or transition pieces with them so they had to return on June 3rd. The stair nose pieces that they brought were the wrong color and didn’t fit. We didn’t accept those pieces so they returned on June 11 to install the nose piece again. During installation, they cut the piece an inch short leaving a gap between our wall and the nose piece. They also damaged our drywall and cut our baseboard into 2 pieces to try to rig the piece to fit. I contacted James, the project manager and sent pictures of the shoddy work. He assured me that he would order another nose piece and the transition piece that was installed damaged. That was on June 11. After not hearing from them, I contacted them on July 9th. I was informed that James was no longer with the company but they had my order on record and would have the Chris the new product manager contact me. I have made several calls to Customer Service and left voice mails but no one has called me back to provide a status update or schedule a time to finish my floor. Don’t do business with this company. They provide a good front during the sales visit but the actual work is shoddy and follow up is non-existent if you have a problem. It is July 29th and I am still waiting on a resolution
