When we decided to build a home we called First Galena Corp. The day we walked into their office Deb and Nathan were very welcoming and we felt right away that this is the first step to an exciting time of our lives. Nathan sat down with us to figure out the kind of house that would be perfect for our family. I, of course, had all these wild ideas that I needed absolutely "everything". I talked with Deb and she made me realize that I didn't. I can't even write in words how grateful I am to this day for her honesty and ideas. Her help allowed us to do some other neat things in our home. Nathan worked with us in our design and did so with such professionalism. He was patient and understanding and really took time to help us figure out the details. The ideas and designs he had for our house were truly awesome and he takes the time to plan what best fits your family. We can honestly say that Deb and Nathan work their hardest and do everything they can to keep things moving and making sure things are done right. Nathan and Deb are so committed to get to know you because they don't just build you a structure, they build you your "home". We love our new home and we highly recommend First Galena, They truly are dedicated professionals who built our family our "DREAM HOME".

We hired Deb Studtman of First Galena Corp. as our architect/builder for our lake house. She was a delight to work with from beginning to end and had so many wonderful ideas that we incorporated into the design of the home. The quality of the construction and the design elements have made our lake house so comfortable during every season and the best place for entertaining our friends and family. My Wife and I Hired First Galena Corp to Design our new home, assist in building site selection, assist in modular home provider selection, and to recommend local contractors for the non modular portions of our new home. Although the design work was mostly performed by Nathan Studtmann, Nathan's Mother Deb Studtmann helped when needed. Deb's years of experience in designing and building homes proved invaluable for things like positioning our home on the building site to take advantage of topology, solving difficult design issues, and coordination of providers and contractors. Deb made a number of suggestions to our design which we had not thought of, and which greatly enhanced our satisfaction with our end product. We are extremely satisfied with our new home and the project was delivered on time and on budget. We whole heartedly recommend First Galena and the Studtmann family for any building or Real Estate projects in the Galena, Illinois area.

Deb Studtmann has provided three architectural designs for us between 1997 and 2014. The first design was our home in 1997. The second design was a three-car garage, breezeway and remodeled basement. And the third was a three-season porch over our patio. In each of the designs Deb provided many unique features. She was very professional and her fees were reasonable. Since she did three designs for us we are not able to provide you exact dates below. Also, she represented us in dealing with our property owners association. The date of the three-season porch was June of 2014 and the cost was approximately $22,000.

We chose First Galena to oversee the building and construction of our All-American Home and could not be more pleased. Nathan has gone above and beyond all expectations in designing the floor plan, guiding us through decisions on interior amenities, and coordinating all details. He has kept us well informed of the progress on our home and the site throughout the parallel construction process of a modular home. We highly recommend this family-run business without reservation. Everyone we have worked with has been phenomenal as our dream home becomes reality.
