I have tried working with other interior designers over the years without much success. I have been told my project was to small, my budget to small, and that I am not suppose to mix my antiques with contemporary. I love color and was told to "tone it down a notch". I am beyond grateful that Elena was able to help me achieve my vision of updating my small living room. I love decorating and was feeling overwhelmed on how to achieve what I wanted. I wanted to work with someone to help me create my vision for my home, not what they thought I wanted or needed. She keeps me focused when I "love everything". Elena presented me with storyboard ideas so I could really get a visual of what the items would look like in my space. Elena is patient and works with in my waxing and waning budget. Elena has literally pulled fabrics out of her Mary Poppins bag that I would swear were made for me. I love that Elena selects fabrics and accessories that work perfectly for my rooms that I would have never even considered. Elena has been the only Designer that gets me and my style. We are continuing our relationship with an updated Dining Room, and two college age kids bedrooms. Next the Kitchen!

Elena of Woodhouse Creek was a tremendous help to me. Like most of us we can feel to a small extent what we would like for a room to do for us but describing and choosing colors, furniture, textiles etc is definitely for those inclined to use their left side of the brain. My project was a den with four separate entrances (from garage, hallway, kitchen and backyard. forcing the furniture to the middle of the room with a fireplace on the only wall. It was being used as the everyday TV room. She was able to convince my husband to move the TV to the seldom used formal living room - a feat I had not been able to do in 20 years. She asked for my budget and kept to it. Along the way I began to add additional options not on original plan so I did spend more than budget but was very happy with these extra choices. She helped me step out of my usual safe color zone. I ended up with different types of wood, metal, velvet, patterns and it all was tastefully put together. The room has a peacefulness to it but it also has pop, whimsical and classic touches. I was very excited to have this extra room for fun gatherings.

Elena is a pleasure to work with on any project, I truly appreciate her professional attitude and unique perspective. She brings a special touch to every aspect of her designs and is always ready to tackle the next item on the list. Working with her is a rewarding experience that I would highly recommend to anyone.

I worked with Elena on a reclaimed mantle cap for a client of hers. She was very professional and easy to work with. She communicated very well in describing what her client was looking for out of the job. Over all a very pleasant experience.
