Ethan Allen Austin

When we were married we started out with a studio couch we recovered ourselves. It did the job for students, we graduated and both of us worked hard to buy our first home and new furniture. We are thrifty people who believes get what you really want and buy quality so, we went to Ethan Allen in Fort Wayne, Indiana to buy our furniture. We started with a sofa, added chairs and end tables. They served us well for 25 years. When we updated we made a couple of bad choices. So, as we embarked on retirement we decided to update our furniture and this time we went to Ethan Allen Austin, Texas. We were fortunate to meet Lori Landers shortly after entering the store. We told her our goals and she gave us her undivided attention; she got to know us, pointed out sale opportunities, construction features, fabric choices, Guardsman Gold Plus Complete and the limited warranty. We left the store knowing the direction we wanted to take with information and pricing in hand. A week later we went in and placed our order. Lori’s eye for design and her communication skills were a great help. Lori never pressured us, she worked with us, with what we had and didn’t want to replace. Ordering was an easy process. They had to order samples of our fabric and Lori, called us when they arrived. She was on top of everything. Our furniture was delivered today...it’s perfect. We got the look we wanted. The delivery communications were outstanding and the delivery was clean and quick. We are so glad that we made the decision to shop Ethan Allen Austin and Lori Landers was our sales associate.

Love the quality and style of our living and dining furniture purchased here. Worked with Jan (Austin, Texas store) who was absolutely terrific. She patiently spent lots of time with us and came to our house to take measurements. Could not be happier with the results.

We had an issue with our upholstery order. It took far too long to correct. After several weeks of phone calls, we decided it was not worth giving this location additional business. When they finally agreed to look at the furniture, we already found a solution and canceled the appointment. We finished our project with a competitor. This location lost several thousands in additional sales due to a very slow response, lack of urgency, and slow decision making on their part. The fix would have cost a few hundred dollars.
