The Natural Option LLC is a residential landscape design, build, and maintenance company that applies ecological solutions to preserve and enhance environmental health and sustainability. Our philosophy is to complement your natural surroundings through responsible practices as we create outdoor spaces to be enjoyed by all living beings. As Mother Nature continuously inspires us, we too hope to inspire our customers as we respectfully transform their landscape to reflect individual needs and lifestyles, and to ultimately enhance their lives through natural beauty and artistic expression. As stewards of the land, our team is committed to promoting sustainable garden practices. Weather it be the importance of healthy living soils, suitable plant selection and placement, or proper pruning, our knowledgeable and experienced staff will assist you in making the right decisions for your site. We take great pride in creating lasting relationships with our customers through excellent service and communication, professionalism, and delivering exceptional quality in every detail. The Natural Option Team is lead by owner, Erin Nausieda, who has been in the industry for over 15-years. Starting out growing an organic based herb farm to supply chefs and offer cut herbs at Farmer’s Markets in her community. Erin earned her Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture with an emphasis in Landscape Design from Michigan State University. For the past 10-years she has been involved in the green industry here in the Pacific Northwest and has developed a wide scope of knowledge and experience from sustainable design and edible gardens, to water preservation and natural stone installation. Erin also holds a certification with WSNLA (Washington State Nursery and Landscape Association) as a Certified Professional Horticulturist. Our team of professionals includes a collaboration of talent from pruning and lawn specialists to hardscape artisans. Since communication is key to the success of any project, our team members are trained to assist you with any questions you may have during a project.
