We are clients for life! Erica James exceeded our own vision for renovating our family home and we’ll never tackle future interior design work without her. From initial brainstorming and reimagining, Erica really listened to what was important to us and for creating a space that really was for us–a perfect combination of elegance and function for a busy household of five. From detailed millwork drawings, to recommendations on appliances and placements, and from lighting plans to furniture, Erica worked with us to ensure we had a space we would love. One of our worries was that we were going to have a beautiful home BUT that it might not feel like we lived there. Right down to the pillows, artwork, and accessories for styling, each piece was carefully considered and felt like it both belonged in the space and belonged to us. Her industry contacts saved us time and money as we were able to leverage discounts with her contacts including the fireplace and surround, flooring, tiles, fabrics, custom millwork, appliances, furniture and accessories.

Erica styled my new apartment with furniture layout, colour schemes, patio setup and even picked out small decor items like plant pots and throw pillows. She really listened to what I liked and didn’t like and took notice of my preferred style. Erica was extremely professional and kept to my budget and timeline! She was so easy to work with. We hired Erica to help us with our condo renovation, a complete gut, and rebuild it into the most beautiful home we ever lived in. From begging to end, Erica was transparent, communicated very well and was super involved in the project. When we have guests visit and they ask us where we got certain things and how did we ever make everything go so well together, my answer is always ERICA. I don't talk about the condo without mentioning Erica in my sentences (in a good way). Staying on budget was very important to us (as I am sure it is to many people); Erica was able to bring new ideas to the table that complemented some of the higher end items purchased and ensure that if it was something from IKEA, we integrated it well with style. She was able to advise on where she thought it would be worth to spend the big bucks, and where we could be a bit more frugal. Once the renovation was complete, we also asked her to help us furnish the home as we were up for renewing everything. once again, the best decision we made. Building trust is one of the most important things when dealing with people and their money, and Erica did not fail one bit to deliver on this. Throughout the whole project, I found myself answering to her "whatever you think is best Erica, I trust you!" and she then would go ahead and deliver on the outcome. We cannot thank her enough for everything she did.
