Eren Design and Remodel

Definitely would not recommend them. They took our money and did not complete the design process. Poor communication or even no communication at times. They Informed us via letter that they would not be completing our design project w no explanation. Do not use this company. Awful !!

Eren delayed getting started on our project, and then fired our designer because her projects were behind and incorrectly measured. After bringing on our new designer, who discussed budget with us and told us that our ideas/selections were on target, we continued to have to hound Eren to follow up on the timelines they had set for us. After nearly six months with no scope or estimate, and many conversations about budget, we met with them where they informed us that our estimate was twice our budget. This is less than a week after the new designer asked us to reconsider backsplash tile selections because they would "put our budget at risk," which seems strange if we had already doubled it. Their service was so bad they proactively offered to refund their design fee, but have held the selections list they had promised hostage. We requested a meeting with the CEO, even sending her a certified letter in the mail, and we've heard nothing back. Eren's attitude right now is that it's a really busy market, and they know that you'll feel the sunk costs when they have you over a barrel and continue. Because if you don't, there are three other customers out there just waiting to get into the pipeline.

We hired Eren Design in 2014 to remodel our guest house in Tucson while living in Alaska. We were so impressed by the quality, craftsmanship, attention to detail and expedited follow-up on remaining punch list items that we decided to hire them again for the 2018 remodel of the main house. We moved into the house (from Alaska) in May of 2018 and started the remodel in July. Their design work was superb and they worked to a budget we could afford while still delivering the elements and quality we wanted. The demolition and construction was very well managed and they were comfortable working and collaborating with us throughout the 5 month period, while we lived in the guest house. We were able to interact with all crafts to ensure everything was the way we wanted it. The final results were exactly what we had envisioned and came out better than we had imagined. Everyone we have shown the house to has been very impressed. We highly recommend Eren Design and Remodel to anyone who may be considering a kitchen, bath, or whole house remodel. They are friendly, personable, dedicated and professional, and we enjoyed sharing the whole remodeling experience with them.

My husband and I hired Eren to remodel our very outdated and poorly-functioning kitchen, along with the adjoining laundry/mudroom. From the first meeting with Janice and Kelly, to the last walk-through after completion, we have been exceedingly happy with the professionals at Eren. Our new kitchen is everything we wanted and more. We highly recommend Eren to everyone in the Tucson area needing a high-quality design and remodel company, and will not hesitate to use their services again down the road.

This is a fabulously wonderful company to work with on any project. They have remodeled our kitchen, family room, fireplace and three bathrooms during the last two summers. Nothing but compliments from neighbors and friends. Kelly has been our designer for each project and she know hers stuff! She listens to what we want and gives us a design that matches our taste and concept. She’s honest in her feedback but always has an idea or solution to put us back on track.

Eren Design remodeled 2 houses for us and did a GREAT job both times! Their design team worked within our budget and our initial ideas and with their professional design smarts, the end product was super. I would totally use them again.

We had a great experience with the Eren Design and Remodel team in our recent remodel of two bathrooms and updating in other parts of our house. From the design to the installation to the followup, they worked with our ideas and needs with little inconvenience to us and finished on time. They were very conscientious about making as little impact as possible on my chemical sensitivities, ordering special materials including paint and wood finish for the cabinets. Their detailed contract specified all particulars and time periods. A process was in place to review status and concerns, and followup post-installation was the best. Eren eliminated the stress of a major construction project.

We engaged Eren Design to manage a complete gutting / renovation project. Their work was outstanding. Beginning with Kelly on the initial layout and interior design work, we were in sync with the Eren team from the start and had great dialogue on the changes we hoped to make. Terry managed the project and did a terrific job of supervising the various subcontractors and Terry’s detailed carpentry work was masterful. All the Eren employees were great to work with as were the contractors hired. We plan to keep those high quality contractors on our list for any future maintenance issues. Our weekly project updates with Janice, by phone or on site, helped keep the project moving, kept us informed and allowed for rapid decision making. We would highly recommend Eren Design.

It was a pleasure to work with Eren Design on two remodeling projects with spectacular results. Our first project (2004) was a total home remodel, inside and out -- anything that could be changed was changed. The second (2012) was a smaller extension and "tweaking" of some spaces All were done professionally and expertly, with attention to every detail, excellent support and assistance in making design decisions. If I were to summarize the experience working with Eren Design is that they are devoted to seeing that you get the result you want and they are magicians in finding solutions to every problem, no matter how big or small.

This is the third major remodel that Eren has completed for us, with Terry serving as lead contractor. They converted a large living area into two bedrooms and a shared bathroom and upgraded existing windows. The project was completed on time and on budget. I appreciate working with Eren because of the care they take to protect the work site and the fact that they are so dependable. All the subs they hire and held to their high standards and they are incredibly responsive to any concerns we have during and after the construction. We had plans from an architect but we were able to work with their designer to make changes which made the project more reasonable.

Upon moving to Tucson, my husband and I purchased an outdated ranch in a terrific area. Eren Design turned this ugly house into the home of our dreams. A total remodel - new kitchen (less one wall!), new bathrooms. Every room in the house was updated. That was just the inside. Erens' also re-designed the homes front entry over hang, by raising, which provides a much better look. Janice and Kelly were great to work with in the design process for the inside and outside of house. They had so many great ideas - things we didn't even know possible. Terry is a master at wood working and that shows in the home details. The whole Eren Design crew was very professional. It is hard to pick out one thing as our favorite. We could not be happier with the service and end product from Eren Design.

Janice, the owner, and Kelly, the designer, as well as the rest of the office staff have always been professional and responsive. They always put their clients first and strive to meet the clients design ideas. They stand behind their projects and are willing to face challenges head on.

We are a supplier of high end custom tile and stone and we work with all of the best Tucson has to offer. We have worked with Eren Design and Remodel for many years providing them with unique and beautiful tiles for their projects. Eren Design added a new patio to the back of our house. The existing concrete was removed, new concrete was poured, existing eaves were removed, and a new patio was built. As with our first experience with Eren Design we were happy with the results and the people we worked with. We have recommended this company to others. We chose Eren Design because of the high quality of the work done for other members of our community and because our architect recommended them. We replaced 4000 square feet of flooring, built an addition, redid the master bath, and remodeled part of the kitchen. We left when the work began and returned almost 3 months later. We have total trust in Eren and came home to a gorgeous, clean home. Eren does exceptional work, keeps the owner as a member of the team, and is totally trustworthy. Exceptionally well run and professional general contracting firm. As a sub contractor, I was very impressed by the level of quality Eren Design expected from us. This bodes well for their clients. They treated us with a great deal of respect and as the valued part of the team. Not always a trait of other general contractors. The planning, project management, drawings, and other operational information Eren provided was first rate. Made our job much easier.

I first hired Eren Design and Remodel 2 years ago to begin a renovation of my entire home. I have done it in stages and continue to use their services for ongoing projects. If anything was different than what I was expecting they again provided the time needed to make sure I had what I wanted.
