We approached Emily to assist us in the design aspect of our 100-year old semi-detached home renovation. We wanted to create more functionality in the small space that we had and knew we couldn’t do it on our own. Emily helped us create the perfect kitchen for us - bright, beautiful, and on budget, all while utilizing every inch of space to prep, cook, and clean up after meals with ease. The footprint of our kitchen actually became smaller, but the functionality of it increased tenfold. The placement of every cabinet, drawer, and appliance was thought through and makes so much sense. Additionally, Emily helped us create a dedicated main floor office space that we never imagined possible and a custom under-the-stairs cabinet to house our sizeable record collection. Thanks to Emily’s knowledge and experience, we were also able to use flooring, paint colours, sun tunnels and windowed doors to help us brighten up our otherwise very dark semi.
