Hired Emerald City for a kitchen renovation job that included removing a load bearing wall. Things fell apart at the job’s completion. Ran into design flaws during install with miscalculations and poor communication between the designer and contractor. Sub contractors had to come out multiple times for sub par work that we as homeowners had to point out to Emerald City. Granite was installed by Emerald City with multiple cracks and fissures present that Emerald City said we should have noticed on a cell phone photo. The biggest issue was when we found that NO permits were pulled for the project (structural, electrical and plumbing) and Emerald City claimed that was our responsibility as homeowners and refused to resolve. We had to seek legal action to have that resolved, which took almost 2 years.

We are very pleased with the way the kitchen turned out. Every step of the process was made very easy by the amazing staff. Great communication for all our questions, and the whole process from start to finish was done quickly and to the utmost quality. We highly recommend Emerald City and will absolutely be referring them to others.

Emerald City performed work in our kitchen in the Pinehills for a remodel (new Quartz countertop and tile) in the Fall/Winter 2019-20. It turned out fabulous! Professional, efficient, considerate and helpful-- all the words I would use to describe John and his team! The new countertop required special leveling and support which John performed flawlessly. We we referred to Best Tile in Plymouth to pick out two types of tile- one for a backsplash- the other for a wall where the barstools would be. The rep at Best Tile was wonderful to work with and helped us with colors and types. John's team did all the tile installation which required cutting patterns for precision placement. We could not be happier with how it all turned out. Thank you Emerald City- you are Number One n our books!!

Our kitchen suffered a few blemishes during our counter install and despite several attempts to communicate with the owner we have not heard back from them. A cabinet front was very noticeably gauged, our dishwasher dented and our ceiling scratched. The countertop itself was templated 1/2” too short. The owner did visit and offered a fix with our backsplash that should alleviate anyone else ever knowing there was a problem. Disappointed in the customer service we received.

Unfortunately during the installation, the countertop did hit the dishwasher. One of our installers immediately told her husband and he said it wasn’t a problem since they were getting it replaced soon.

On December 8th, John personally met with the customer and made adjustments to the faucet and sink placement. She did not ask for anything else to be reviewed or repaired. The homeowner seemed satisfied and appreciative at the end of the meeting.

Over a month later she sent an email after she said Houzz requested a review from her. She stated she would not be rating her experience as she believes we are all human and mistakes happen and said that no one will notice after the modifications were made. John responded within 3 business days apologizing for the issue during installation and said he would review with the installers for the future. He didn't hear back and then the negative review came through shortly after. John did not receive any other calls or e-mails before this.

We are sad to see this negative review come through since we do take pride in our customer service and this was our third time working with this customer. We try our best to leave every customer happy. We truthfully thought she was until this review came through.

John and his team are excellent!! Responds and completed the work in a very timely manner. Prices are very fair. I have done two kitchen projects with them so far. Plan at least three more in 2021.

Emerald City, LLC is a very professional company. Returns calls promptly and their customer service is excellent. the work i had done in my home was completed in a timely manner and the installers cleaned up after themselves. i would highly recommend Emerald City as your number 1 choice for any improvements you are planning for your home.

Very happy with the way my new kitchen looks. Emerald city did a beautiful job. They were very professional and helpful throughout the whole process. Timing was right on. They also designed and helped us choose all finishes. They were very accommodating and always checked in with us throughout the process. I was able to email them with any questions and they responded quickly. They really listened to us about our style and were so helpful choosing the cabinets and counters and tiles. They take pride in the workmanship and the design. Customer satisfaction is a high priority and I would recommend them without hesitation. Thank you for giving us the kitchen of our dreams.

The team at Emerald City is nothing short of amazing! Laurie has such an eye for design and the rest of the team is so professional and helpful. They take pride in the quality of their work. I actually have renovated two kitchens with Emerald City and one bathroom. Their patience with me in picking materials out, as well as their quick delivery and installation, is the reason why I am giving a 5 star review. I highly recommend Emerald City!

We needed a new vanity top in the master bath. They were super helpful finding the right granite and did a great job with the installation. Pleasant and professional! Highly recommend.

Emerald City not only has a fun name , but has friendly staff as well. When my husband and I decided to remodel our 1950's kitchen we looked into several kitchen remodel companies. We chose Emerald City for several reasons. Their show room was not overwhelming. We where aided but not pushed into choosing the quality Diamond cabinets and beautiful Quarts counter top. John came out to our home when scheduled and on time to measure and then to install the counter tops. Thanks to our builder and Emerald City, the remodeling experience was effortless from beginning to end. We love our new kitchen. Leigh and Paul

Emerald City ripped out my outdated counters and installed an absolutely gorgeous Colonial White granite. They were professional, on time, courteous, and did a fabulous job. And they worked around my four small kids. Very good prices, as well. I highly recommend!!!
