Our english Walnut dining table and side table are absolutely stunning. The quality of work, finish and artistry of design is outstanding. We have two unique pieces that are more art than furniture. Overall we have had an amazing service and received a beautiful table from Earthy Timber. Yes it's strange having to pay £12 for a quote ...but perhaps it gets rid of the time wasters? They must do it for a reason! Eventually I just decided I liked their table designs so much it was worth £12 to find out if we could have one. The quote came back much too high for me but after a few chats we found a price/size/design that worked for us all. So don't be put off by this process. Anna was fantastic at keeping me up to date during the 5 months it took to make our bespoke table. Both Anna and Adam personally delivered it to our new home and they are gorgeous people too who care so very much for the product that they produce. We loved buying from them and supporting a small family business. We now have an amazing piece of art as a dining table in our forever home thanks to their passion for wood and creativity.

I have entrusted Earthy Timber with the making of oak shelves for my home for the third time now. Anna and the team were wonderful - kindly accommodated my requirements, kept me updated on progress with photographs, delivered my order on time and with care. We commissioned the most beautiful and sophisticated solid wood walnut dining table from Earthy Timber. We also ordered equally stunning matching console table and shelves for our stone barn conversion. As Stawicki is an undisputed master and gives reclaimed wood a new elegant dimension. His work is timeless, cutting edge and contemporary. Most importantly AS loves nature and does not use viable, healthy trees to make his furniture. He collaborates with Earthy Timber and uses their patented technology to meticulously dry the wood to its very core in a vacuum chamber. Their advanced timber processing technology turns the wood's 'faults' into distinguished features. You would never achieve the same effect with healthy trees. I keep discovering something new in my walnut table every day, in different light: the marbling of rot cooked and hardened in high temperature, stunning hues, fissuring and cavities subtly highlighted with resin. I should also mention the wood is silky smooth, no open knots or features therefore very easy to maintain. You will recognise and identify AS STAWICKI 's art work by the lightness he ennobles impurities in his practical creations. Dining and console tables are not our first investment with Earthy Timber, a few years back we also purchased large conference table from a single slab of oak. After 8 years of heavy usage, spilled coffees, office parties, late curries and 2 relocations it still looks brand new (the finish to ask for is called 'waterproof') We highly recommend AS Stawicki and Earthy Timber. Their furniture are high priced but furnish our home with distinctiveness.

Anna crafted the most exquisite river oak desk top for my office. The craftsmanship of the timber is simply astounding. I've never seen such beautifully worked timber! I'll cherish this piece for a lifetime. It's a joy just to sit down to start work, which is saying something! This is woodworking at it's absolute best, with an incredible talent for bringing out the spirit of the wood. Anna kept me updated at every stage of the project from start to finish and was a pleasure to deal with. I'm already dreaming of my next project - for anything in timber they will forever be my first port of call.

We initially contacted Anna at Earthy Timber when we had no more than a vague idea of what we wanted, other than it should be beautiful; and after sending some photos of our kitchen and an outline of our idea to extend our kitchen island, a plan was hatched. When Adam and Anna visited to measure up and do a site survey we saw Adam’s creativity shine as he came up with new suggestions for the plan. He clearly understood what we wanted, and at that point the project changed from being a piece of carpentry to a piece of art with a function in our home. Once a price was agreed Adam indicated that an increase in the thickness of the oak would be needed for it to look right in the environment of our home, but there was no additional change for this. Anna was always responsive to our emails and we were lucky enough to see some photos of the massive slice of an old oak tree, that had fallen in Germany, that Adam would work on to become our kitchen island extension. Adam is only interested in working with trees which have fallen naturally or had to be cut down because they were diseased. If he thinks they will have an attractive grain and interesting features, he “harvests” them to give them a new life in his workshop. Adam and Anna are two of the friendliest people we’ve met and every interaction with them is positive and enthusiastic. Their company is a pleasure to deal with and they have the rare quality of being able to inject fun into their work and customer interactions. When the long-awaited day of installation arrived, Adam’s enthusiasm and pride for what he had created was infectious and it was exhilarating to see him working in our kitchen with fellow craftsman Mike. The finished product exceeds all possible expectations, and every detail exudes quality that has been thoughtfully and carefully considered. It is truly a piece of architectural art which will become a working centrepiece of our kitchen. It’s very solid, very beautiful and very tactile. It is simply impossible not to admire it every time we look at it or sit at it.

We absolutely love our table and breakfast bar which Anna delivered personally along with a bunch of flowers - such a lovely touch! The attention to detail and personal consultation throughout the process made it such a positive experience. Both the table and bar have revolutionised our family life and are so practical (you can put hot drinks etc directly on the surface) as well as looking really beautiful. We’ve had so many compliments from friends and family and couldn’t be happier with our choice! Thank you so much!

Earthy Timber did a fantastic job to make us an L shaped breakfast bar for our new kitchen. The worktop was made from two planks of oak. The team gave us a bespoke piece with part live, part square finish on the seating side of the breakfast bar. They created robust supports for the overhang and a beautiful mitre finish to join pieces into an L shape. Anna’s service was brilliant and very thorough. There was even a mistake with the measurements from our carpenter, which Anna identified and then made sure the 30 mm length error was corrected before they started the work. We are particularly pleased we invested in the waterproof finish. This was totally worth it, as we never have to oil the worktop. All we do is wipe it clean with water and it comes up beautifully, mark-free, every time. We highly recommend investing in this wonderful rustic oak worktop, which gives our home a unique, warm and homely feel.
