Design on Stock USA

Was shopping for a new couch, and came across a few “Design on Stock” sofas showcased in a local showroom. Immediately loved the chic, modern European design which aligned with our aesthetics and assumed would be waiting for at least 3 months if we found one we liked. We then discovered the great idea behind this brand - designed in the Netherlands, huge range of materials offered. Fabrics are sent quickly from the Netherlands, but then assembled in the US - reducing wait time to only about 6 weeks. We ordered the Byen Lounge sectional, which is much much deeper than regular couches (and the standard Byen which also available if you don’t need the depth) which is amazing for me as I’m 6’3” and was fed up being uncomfortable on most U.S. designed couches which are very shallow. We chose from a selection of dozens of materials and colors from the swatch selection we were given to take home. We also chose a left hand chaise rather than the usual right hand chaise part of the sectional which matched our room layout. Then as promised six weeks later our couch arrived, and looked stunning. April and staff were also there with us all the way - very personal service, and any questions and some small issues with how the couch initially was sitting were immediately resolved. We loved the couch so much we ordered a couple of ottomans to really make it look expansive. Overall 5/5 for design, quality and service. Support this great brand and don’t over-pay or over-wait for the usual Italian suspects if you need a great couch! Bruce.

We found Design On Stock through a friend. We were able to use the website to see the different options until we found what we liked. We visited a showroom just to sit on the pieces and were very impressed with the comfort and beautiful fabrics. Our sectional is tweed in a style called Bloq. It is contemporary or I guess modern and has cool aluminum legs. It arrived in a few weeks and was perfect. We looked at other European companies like Roche Bobois, but liked the quick delivery, great value, quality and comfort from Design On Stock
