I love my open concept home with high ceilings and enjoy entertaining. My great room is a large space with a corner fireplace...not the easiest layout for furniture placement. With a limited budget I enlisted Dominique with the challenge of modernizing the space yet making it warm and inviting. Very quickly she was able to determine my personality, style and taste and incorporate them into my home in ways I had not thought of. She was able to use some of my furniture, and helped me purchase new tables, lamps, cushions, throws and accessories that totally transformed the room. She rearranged the furniture creating a cozy seating area, always checking to make sure I approved. Dom suggested a new backsplash and handles for my kitchen cupboards to tie everything together. Her keen eye and vast experience found my favourite piece, a beautiful led floor lamp. It is a reproduction of a very expensive lamp she had purchased for another one of her clients. I was able to put it in my home for about one tenth of the price! Dom was easy to work with, she helped me discover my vision for the room and effortlessly made it a reality. Dominique came highly recommended, and I now understand why. My vacation home in the Cayman Islands was severely damaged in Hurricane Ivan. The house was very dated and this gave me the opportunity to give it a complete facelift and modernization. Dominique met with me to get an idea of what my vision was for the new house. She then took over and coordinated with the trades in Cayman for the reconstruction and renovation of the beach house as well as taking care of all the furniture purchasing... all the way down to pots, pans and towels for the beach and bathrooms. This could have been a complete nightmare, yet Dominique made the entire process painless and stress free. I was able to go down the following year to a brand new home and enjoy my holiday.

Dominique is simply incredible. I've never met another person who has as much attention to detail and design as her. Dominique's has a beautiful personality and happily works within whatever budget you have. Having worked with Dominique before, I did not hesitate to bring her in for this project. Dominique worked with us for over six months on our custom built kitchen in Toronto. During this time, she displayed a high degree of integrity, responsibility and intelligence. She helped us choose the flooring, cabinetry, lighting, colour, plumbing fixtures, counters and all other aspects relating to our overall kitchen design. As we were out of town during the entire phase of the kitchen construction, she oversaw the costing, payments and worked effectively with the trades, always making time to be available to get the job done efficiently and professionally. I have had the opportunity to work with Dominique in the past so she was a natural choice for my latest home. Dominique is very easy to work with and has excellent taste. Her ability to listen, her creative vision, attention to detail, and ability to work with any and all trades, is second none. I purchased a pre-construction condo a number of years ago without looking closely at the floorpans. The space was completely non-functional and chopped up. The finishes were very standard entry level. Dominique went above and beyond to work with the builder trades to change as much as possible before I took possession, and brought her own trades in to do the rest. She enlarged the kitchen, built a TV feature wall out of steel, and created a contemporary open fireplace wall visible from every room in the condo. I love all the Italian and custom furniture she selected, everything is extremely good quality and very comfortable. I couldn’t be happier with the end result - it has the stylish “modern high-end” feel I was after yet maintains the warmth and comfort I require to relax and feel at home. Leo Grunberger
