Dirk Moyer, Landscape Architect

After several fails at finding landscape architects and contractors, we found Dirk Moyer (dirk@jennabayer.com) through Jenna Bayer designs (jenna@jennabayer.com). He exceeded our expectations. An active listener, Dirk carefully considered our requests and concerns, came back with a microclimate appropriate draft plan, was responsive to our feedback, retained as much of the existing landscape as was feasible, helped us get bids from contractors, collaborated with the contractor we hired, was budget conscious, and consistently followed through with every step of the design and implementation. He helped us avoid needing major engineering. With his knowledge of plants and passion for nature, we ended up with a drought tolerant beautiful yard. The job was on time and within budget. This was during pandemic where demand for landscape design and contractors was intense. We wholeheartedly recommend Dirk and he was key to the entire process.

Dirk was the landscape architect for our Taiji House, perhaps the most award winning project we have ever done. I feel the rewards we received and the outstanding quality of the project was due to the teamwork and collaboration between all parties, but Dirk stood out amongst us all for the beauty of his design work. Every time I return to the house, I am delighted with how the landscape has grown and matured. Dirk is a very special talent.
