We hired D+D to help us with our relocation from Canada to Melbourne in 2022. Given the shipping challenges and supply chain issues related to the pandemic we were having trouble sourcing furniture for our new home. With two young kids we wanted our move to be smooth and as painless as possible. I reached out to several local designers with the ask to source us in stock items to furnish our 4-bed/4-bath home with only a few weeks notice on a modest budget. Most responded that it wasn't possible. We were so lucky we found Nicole and the D+D team. Nicole was extremely professional and responsive. After only a few email exchanges and phone chats she totally understand the look we were going for. She visited our rental when we were still in Canada to see the space, provided us with amazing furniture options, and handled delivery and set up. Our place was essentially turn key ready the day after we received the keys (including items like towels, bed linens etc), and all completed within our budget. T I very highly recommend Nicole and D+D. They really went above and beyond our expectations. It was so worth the investment in quality furniture and absolutely saved our sanity. We're shocked to say that we are sad the process is over as we actually enjoyed it so much. Thank you again for everything!

We’re having a fantastic experience dealing with Lara and Nicole for the sale of our apartment in the Melbourne’s CBD. The turn-around time was less than 48hrs from the time we contacted D&D, and the set-up was worry-free, fast and efficient. The apartment looks a million dollars and the design choice was well aligned with how we wanted to present our place. Had a very positive experience with Lara. I was initially dubious about paying out for a stylist for the sale of my apartment but wow, so glad I did! The promotional shots looked excellent and we ended up getting far more from the sale than I ever expected. The experience was very easy and I found I didn’t have to do anything other than sit back and let Lara do her work.

This is the third time we have used the services of Design + Diplomacy, and we keep going back because their work really does bring out the best our properties. The business is led by Nicole, who is an interior designer herself. So what we got is true styling, not just basic furniture hire. Their furniture collection is also second to none, with plenty of bespoke pieces that gives a solid and well built look and feel. Even one of our architects asked us who did our styling for us! Lara who was in charge of our recent project was highly efficient and very easy to communicate with, a fantastic problem solver too. Would not hesitate to use their services again, highly recommended.
