My name is Deisi Vazquez, pronounced "Daisy".
My Experience
I am a Residential and Commercial Interior Designer also recurrently working as Art Director for several TV Home Renovation shows on HGTV, DIY Network and most recently, the Magnolia Network. I worked 3 years as Creative Director for an international upscale outdoor furniture manufacturer, rebranding, designing their national showrooms and staging their catalogs. I also have a passion design blog on the “art of Vacation Home Staging” for people considering owning and running a Vacation Rental, or as it’s now called, an “AirBNB”.
My Personal Aesthetic
My style has been described as comfortable elegance, vibrant and curated. I jokingly refer to it as “Suburban Swank”, a livable comfortable elegance. I love sensory surroundings – soothing and relaxed yet vibrant with color and texture, spaces that are tactile and make you FEEL something. Your spaces should reflect not only who you are, but who and where you want to be.
Picture Bossa Nova playing, cocktails in beautiful glasses and you sitting by the fire in fuzzy slippers, that’s Suburban Swank.

My Favorite Work
The truth is my favorite project is always my current project, I tend to obsess over whatever I am working on in the moment. Whether it’s a small E-Design project, a furniture catalog photo shoot, designing with what feels like a gun to my head (TV Design) or a large scale modernization “gut” job – I love it all.
I enjoy losing myself in E-design, building in 3D virtual design, showing clients drawings of what the different potentials for their spaces could be, then seeing them get excited, emotional and enthusiastic about their project.
I also love transforming non-performing AirBNB Vacation Rentals into a beautiful regionally inspired place you want to be and seeing them thrive.
