I hired Don to help me pick flooring in a new house that I bought. There were some existing features in the home that I needed the flooring to complement. Don listened to what I wanted to achieve in the room and he came through with great advice. My floors look great!

I hired Donald Tatera to transform my home because from our first couple of meetings, I could tell he was a man of integrity. I had such confidence in him and Team Tatera, I basically left all the decisions to them. I stayed out of there way and let the professionals take care of my home. Well, it turned out, awesome. It's just like what you see on television with the home make overs, the before and after was simply, amazing. All the rooms and bathrooms are night and day. It's hard to believe, it is the same house.

I have worked with Donald Tatera and Decorating Den for about 5 years. I find him honest, reliable, creative and highly responsive to his clients' needs and wants. If Donald quotes a price you can rely on that as a firm price. The only time I have seen the need for changes in any of his jobs has been when the client makes changes. When Donald gives a delivery or installation date, he does his utmost to hold to that date. His follow up system begins with the initial quote and continues through completion of the job to insure total satisfaction of the client. Of course, not everyone can be satisfied and problems do arise. I would estimate that Donald's (and Decorating Den's) overall satisfaction rating would be, easily 95%. In my book, he's 100%

I had a lifetime guarantee on a Hunter Douglas shade. Dec Den sent it in to HD for repair, but they did not honor the guarantee, saying the part was no longer being manufactured. Through Dec Den I bought a replacement from HD. Dec Den was disappointed that HD did not give me any courtesy discount.

I am having my family room remodeled (after a total renovation of an adjacent kitchen). I'm still in this process; we've ordered furniture but still have lots of work to do with this family room. My big splurge to myself!

He was on time - completed the job perfectly and helped me find an appropriate replacement for a light for my bathroom.

We called Donald Tatera for estimate of a small project and future vision of what we have the house. He showed up on time. He was very pleasant and have a great idea of what we should do as far dealing with tight budget and breaking down the process. We hope to eventually go through with small projects with his help. He also presented lots of option how to tackle this project. It was a free consultation and so he also gave us prices for his service if we decide to use him. We would definitely recommend him. He is both a general contractor and designer which is a plus. We have called other contractors for the project and no one has come out because it's a small project & not a guarantee we will for sure hire them as we wanted to get prices before jumping into doing it.

Decorating Den assisted in selecting all the window shades, blinds and coverings when we were building our new home, they installed all with perfection and professionalism and have stood by the products when a warranty issue arose. Highly recommend.

One of my Hunter Douglas Dovette shades was malfunctioning. Decorating Den had assisted me with a repair in the past and had done an excellent job, so I called them again! They responded quickly and voila, my shade was reconditioned.
