Deborah Desir has over 20 years experience in residential and contract interiors from New York, New Jersey, Las Vegas, and Florida. Her portfolio includes high end residences, wedding reception halls, restaurants, banks, hotel lobbies, healthcare facilities, and offices. Although Deborah enjoyed the autonomy of owning her own design firm for 6 years she thrives best in a team setting and joined Ethan Allen in 2011. She prides herself on building & maintaining relationships and providing superior service throughout the project. Each project is a unique collaboration between Deborah and the client balancing creativity, function, budget, and project requirements. Deborah has been fortunate to work with other talented professionals and wonderful clients. She is passionate about creating memorable spaces and classic yet unique designs. Deborah is fluent in French & Haitian creole and speaks Spanish and Portuguese.

D. Desir was exceptional. She answered the chat on the Ethan Allen website. I could not have had a better designer. We worked remote. She sent me pictures, drawings, and prices every time that I had a question. She made the experience positive in every way. Our local stores are understaffed and they have no designer knowledge. Please check Ms. Desir’s degrees. Thank you again. I live in SC and she was in FL but distance was never an issue, she was always there to help.

Deborah Desir has been a pleasure to work with. She came to my home with samples that were just perfect and made it easy to choose new pieces. I highly recommend her! I have always been a fan of Ethan Allen furniture and their design services.

Debra Desir works at Ethan Allen Orlando....She was wonderful to work with designing our two rooms of furniture....She is patient...and a good listener to our needs and furniture style....we had a great experience....Shopping for furniture can be very stressful....however...Debra made the experience fun and exciting....ELLEN Rosenstein

I have had the opportunity to work with Debbie Desir at Ethan Allen. She is knowledgeable about design and product as well as the appropriate use of color and space. I found working with Debbie Desir a pleasure. She listened to me and guided me to accomplish the look I was aiming for. I found her to be creative and yet practical. Debbie is warm, friendly, easy to work with, and yet totally professional. Debbie respected my budget and gave me alternate choices when necessary.

Ms. Desir gave us understated elegance in our living room and guest room with the perfect design for flow and use of natural light. The Ethan Allen window coverings exceeded our expectations. I fully intend to move ahead with our next project, a complete kitchen & family room redesign she proposed which will increase the functionality of the space and bring more sunlight in. I expect it to be gorgeous!

Deborah Desir is a gifted and talented designer. She tastefully designed my entire house and was always available for consultations, questions, etc. She was very pleasant, reliable, and receptive to my input. I have received numerous complements on her decorating and, several years later, I am still enjoying the fruits of her labor. I highly recommend her and anyone would be lucky to have her design anything in their home.
