I am so happy I went to the Philharmonic Design House at the Strands and discovered Deirdre's work! I fell in love with the bedroom she designed and after interviewing her, knew that she was the perfect person to decorate my entire home. I can truly say she created my dream home, by listening to what I had in mind, and choosing furniture, rugs, lighting and accessories to create a total look that is exactly what I had hoped for. Deirdre was extremely organized, diligent and completely accessible during the entire process. I loved her guidance when I had questions, and really relied on her knowledge of how patterns, colors, shapes and scale are all important features in creating the perfect look and feel of a room. I would highly recommend Deirdre to anyone designing a room or an entire house.

I had Deirdre help me with a nursery for our first, in our two bedroom apartment. She was wonderful! She did a consult meeting to get a feel for what I liked and disliked, then came back a second time with sample fabrics and ideas to pursue. Then she gave me some basic furniture layouts, and the chance to go shop for those pieces myself as I went around to different stores, letting me get a feel for what chairs were comfy, which cribs I liked, etc. The room is beautiful and functional, and the layout will work great as my boy gets older.

Deirdre was referred to my by a close personal friend. She came highly recommended. I was looking to redecorate my daughters bedroom. Her room was a very traditional English style, which matches the rest of the house. My daughter wanted to make it her own space in her own taste. Deirdre worked with myself and my daughter and really tried to understand what we wanted. She was great listening to what we wanted and provided great service in delivering exactly what were looking for. We completely transformed my daughters room, from the walls, to the draperies, to the furnishings and all the finishing touches with accessories and wall art. My daughter was thrilled and loves her room! Deirdre's contractors are professional, timely and provide top quality work. We had bedding, furnishings (bed and chair) and cabinetry custom made for the room and the quality is amazing and top rate. I would not hesitate to use Deirdre's services again. She is a great person and professional who wants to give her clients what they want without compromising quality. She is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her services.
