Darren and his crew were very professional and accommodating with our complete bathroom reno in our post-war era house. Darren had great ideas and could see my vision for a well appointed modern bathroom in a very small space. He was great at suggesting design ideas when I was stumped, like a unique double-hung (almost floor to ceiling!) narrow window so we could let as much light as possible into our small space. Little touch ups after the job was done were handled quickly and with no fuss. Highly recommended.

We purchased a home that Darren built and we're amazed by his attention to detail. You can tell that everything was thought through and the build quality is superb. We've now been living in it for 2 years and every day we come home from work we still feel the joy we felt when we first stepped into it 2 years ago. Even now Darren's been easily reachable whenever we have questions about the house. I would definitely recommend DBW Contracting.

We were apprehensive about taking on a large renovation project, but after meeting with Darren and touring one of his previous projects (Rainbow), we knew that his attention to detail, his willingness to work with us and make the decision making process less painful, we knew we had the right contractor. We are pleased with Darren's advice during the renovation and the finished product exceeded our expectations. We did not use a designer and relied on Darren's expertise during the renovation and his suggestions/modifications made sense every step of the way. It was our first renovation and if we were to do another one, we will definitely use DBW again.

DBW Contracting recently renovated our vacation condo from top to bottom. We couldn't be happier with the service we received, the quality of work, and the attention to detail. Darren was more than helpful with suggestions and went above and beyond to communicate with us and satisfy our needs. He was very mindful of our strata bylaws and ensured the worksite and building were kept neat and safe at all times. It is not often that one says they were sorry to see the end of their renovation as it was a pleasure to work with such great people.

This was a major kitchen renovation. I could not be happier with the final product as well as the process to get there. DBW Contracting did a wonderful job. They are really nice guys and nothing you ask is too much for them to do. They are always willing to do the extra touches that were not discussed at the outset. They kept to the timelines that were set out. The attention to detail was perfect, no short-cuts or cheap imitations. They took as much pride in the work as if they were doing it for themselves. We couldn't have been happier and I will always recommend them without reservation. They took care of my home and the finish product is fantastic. No one would be disappointed with having DWB Contracting doing the work for you renovation - big or small.

We are in the midst of our second renovation with Darren. The first turned out spectacularly well and I have no doubt the second will too. Darren uses the best quality materials, exceptional sub-trades and strives to put our ideas into reality. He keeps us well informed of progress and addresses issues as they arise in a very timely manner. He is up to date on the very latest innovations to make your home a showplace. He is very open to discussion and always attempts to make this "our" house, as well as his project. He is always friendly, professional and works very well with the municipality in obtaining necessary permits. This can be very challenging in our neighbourhood! I would not hesitate to recommend Darren and his team for a large renovation.

I spent over twenty years trying to figure out how to update my kitchen using the existing space. Darren came over and sat in the kitchen, and within ten minutes of talking to us about the features we would like started pointing out where a door could be moved, a window created and the appliances relocated to suit our needs. It was magic; We went from four drawers to twenty two and the fridge is now tucked away in what was formerly a useless pantry. The demo went well, any surprises that came up as in any sixty year old were not a big issue and dealt with. The crew were friendly, hard working and respectful of my house and family.( I have a adult Downs Syndrome daughter at home) The reno went quite well, but what impressed me the most was how Darren made sure that everything was done to his satisfaction, As an example, the patio bricks were set in the wrong pattern by a worker. He had them rip it out and he personally came back after hours and re laid the bricks. Darren is a straight talker, honest to tell you his opinions, and has the knowledge required in the industry. There was no BS with cost estimates, you get what you pay for. His budget was realistic and as it turns out quite accurate. I will be using this company for my next project soon.

DBW Contracting did a complete kitchen renovation with a breakfast room addition, as well as updating our bathroom several years ago. Darren worked well with both the designer and myself to make sure I got the kitchen I really wanted. The project went smoothly, Darren and his crew were available to ask questions and to give me options all during the construction work. We have since had Darren do several smaller updates in other parts of the house. Darren is always pleasant to deal with and goes out of his way to make sure the job is done right.

DBW completed a total makeover of our house in Rockland, including removing a bearing wall and inserting replacement support beams in the ceiling. Drywalling, rockwork, painting, installing steam shower, flooring, carpeting were all completed. The house was then displayed in the parade of homes in 2010. Excellent caring workmanship. Very easy to work with and workmanship of the highest caliber.
