Matteo and his team helped me design my boutique gym in central London. I wanted to merge the gritty element of hard training, with the luxury of Mayfair, and Matteo understood completely. Matteo and his collaborators designed and realized an excellent refurbishment of our small (24 square meters) studio flat in Central London transforming it in what one could now call a one-bedroom flat. The refurbished studio flat is now endowed of plenty of storage space, a bathroom with a shower and washing machine, an autonomous and comfortable bedroom space, and a sitting room divided in three areas: (i) a fully equipped kitchen (with fridge, freezer, oven, dishwasher, induction cooker, and ample larder), (ii) a sitting area with a sofa bed, table and cupboard, and (iii) a working area for two people with a large library, and narrow but elongated writing desks. Matteo succeeded to couple an uncompromising rationality in the use of the limited spaces with a refined and original esthetical design that drew inspiration from an updated art-and-craft approach reminiscent of William Morris. The successful outcome of the refurbishment process owed much to the maieutic method of interaction with the clients aiming to adapt the interior design and its implementation to the exigencies of the clients that Matteo contributed to make more explicit and coherent. The implementation of the project by Matteo and his team of collaborators consistently respected high standards of precision and rigor. The required constructive dialogue with the clients has been fully successful not only by their high-level professional skills but also by their outstanding personal qualities.

We have previously worked with interior designers and were always disappointed so we were very cautious about engaging another one but through a recommendation, we found Matteo; and he defied all expectations. He took the time to really get to know us as people; we felt heard and understood which was the most important thing for us. The results were more than what we'd hoped for, and we are very grateful for it. We are considering working with Matteo again.

The studio is very experienced, with a strong sense of style, injecting a sense of playfulness into their designs which is why we approached them to design our family home. He takes time to understand his clients needs and comes up with clever and practical solutions we would never have thought of ourselves.
