We hired Tim Columbus, owner of Columbus Woodworks in Lynchburg, Virginia, to completely renovate our beachhouse kitchen. Tim exhibited professionalism, experience, knowledge, and expertise in cabinetry and countertops, all of which was so evident in the finished product. He was able to calmly and tactfully work with my wife to persuade her as to what would work and what wouldn't. Tim transformed a 1960s kitchen into a beautiful updated kitchen with all of the latest conveniences. One of Tim' strengths is his preciseness with measuring and fit. Each cabinet, door, drawer, shelf, and countertop fit and functioned perfectly. Tim completed the job according to the agreed timeline and price. I hired Columbus Woodworks to design and built a custom dining table for my new home, in anticipation of the holidays and lots of family members arriving. I was able to custom design my table legs, select the wood & stain desired, and I received my order in a timely fashion. This dining room table has now become the focal point of our home. It's the first thing guests see when they walk in the door, and they just stand in awe and immediately ask, "Where did you get that table???" The table is large enough to comfortably seat 12, but has two leaves that can be taken out easily in order to seat a smaller party of 8. This is definitely my favorite piece in the entire house and well worth every penny!
