We found Mirko and CRES Builders on houzz. After reading his reviews, we decided that he would help us successfully execute our vision in our basement. In comparison to other quotes we received Mirko was by far the most transparent and detailed. He is highly organized and meticulous. He met all deadlines that he set and even finished ahead of schedule. The quality of the workmanship was superior. We highly recommend Mirko and CRES Builders.

After interviewing lot of contractors to finish our basement, there was no doubt in our mind when we met Mirko. He understood our requirements and was able to clearly visualize our dream basement from the start. We recently hired CRES Builders to finish our 1,300 sqft basement after evaluating 3-4 other companies. It’s very clear why Mirko and team have such positive reviews! From the beginning Mirko was very honest with my budget needs and worked with me to identify where we can save some money to stay on target. He provided excellent communication, always available by call, text or email and was on-site multiple times throughout the week (if not daily) to check quality and progress. His entire team is very professional, hardworking and have a strong attention to detail! He provides weekly progress updates so that there are no surprises, is very transparent and ultimately finished our basement on time and on budget. Very early in the process we were provided a detailed accounting of what to expect and a generalized schedule of construction activities. We greatly appreciated CRES Builders’ approach to payment. They took weekly allotment payments so that we paid as we went. No up-front costs and you pay upon completion of work for that week. CRES Builders was consistently available communication-wise and was always willing to answer questions, provide updates, and feedback. Making any changes to our build was an easy and smooth process. With any build, there can be hiccups along the way and CRES Builders makes sure to inform you of this, prepare you for it, and find effective solutions to ensure that you are happy. CRES Builders Quality of Work: CRES Builders ALWAYS showed up punctually, ready to work. Any time that the work fell behind, even if it was from changes we made, CRES Builders made sure to put in extra time that very week to get us caught back up on our established finishing date. CRES Builders has great workers, sub contractors, and vendors that work with them. Each person that we came into contact with were kind and courteous and provided exceptional customer service. Each individual had great knowledge of their particular craft and provided exceptional work. They were able to answer a litany of questions, provide you with samples, and took the time to meet with you on a personal level. We never felt rushed in this process. Even when it came to installation, CRES Builders’ vendors, sub contractors, and workers took time to show us their work (portfolios), describe how they do their work, provide us with transparent numbers about how they got to their price point, and followed up with us about our satisfaction regarding their work. Additionally, they were punctual in answering any additional questions and/or concerns we had about the work. Finally, we wanted to leave this last part of the review for the project manager, Mirko. Mirko was beyond amazing, both personally and professionally. Mirko is committed to providing great customer service, good communication, and a quality project. Mirko was completely in control of this project and always knew where he was in the process, who was coming and going, what time they were arriving, and what issues (if any) were going on. Mirko was able to effectively provide solutions, enhance our vision of the space, and work within our budget. Most importantly, Mirko provided overall snapshots every week regarding budget, cost/price changes, and a detailed layout of where the money was going. There are no surprises with Mirko and/or CRES Builders and we highly recommend them not only for professional purposes, but for personal ones as well. CRES Builders remodeled our basement and we are beyond happy! Mirko was wonderful to work. Mirko and his team from CRES builders exceeded our expectations for our basement remodel. From the first meeting to lay out our ideas to the final walk through, we are highly satisfied with our entire experience. Mirko even finished the project EARLY and that included all required inspections. We met with 3 other contractors before deciding on CRES and here are a few ways this company stands out among all the others...Mirko laid out all of the expectations ahead of time and communicated with us daily via text, phone calls and site visits. There was rarely a day we didn't see him. A dumpster and portable bathroom were brought to our home before the project started to ensure the crew kept the work site clean and had facilities to use. There was a lock placed on our basement door for the crews so we did not have to manage any of their arrivals/departures. The quality of the work is excellent! No decisions were made without reviewing it with us first, such as the direction the tile should lay on the bathroom floor or the height of the backsplash on the kitchen counter. Mirko and team build us a lovely Pavilion over our back yard patio. This was the most positive and pleasant experience my husband and I have ever had with a builder/contractor and team. Mirko was thorough and detailed with great suggestions in the planning stage. He kept us informed of progress regularly. All workers were professional; quality work completed on time with no surprises. The end result surpassed our expectations!
