We are an expert team of traditional builders and craftsmen with a passion for sustainable construction. Using skills we have developed while working on heritage projects across the South West of England, we deliver the perfect balance of traditional craftsmanship and modern building excellence. With a keen eye for detail, we take inspiration from innovative construction design and its use in sensitive environments. We’ve worked on a large range of interesting and challenging projects so have been able to build strong relations with local and overseas architectural firms to offer a complete design and build service. We take pride in the standard of our work and genuinely enjoy what we do.

Craft Renovations did a great job of converting some wooden stables into an art studio for me, including installing water, electricity and insulation. They used very creative ideas and materials and were a pleasure to work with both on the concept and in practice. The guys were very professional, reliable, communicated well and are skilled at their job. Their external contractors were very efficient and reliable too. Very happy with this company and can recommend them for any building project.

Rory Hart and his team made a huge success of our project and, thanks in large part to them, we now have a really amazing house to live in! From our initial meetings we were confident that Hart D+C understood what we wanted to create for our family home. During the build, the site team were well led by the foreman and were a pleasure to have around the house. Any issues were addressed and resolved considerately and creatively. Communication was very effective throughout the process and Hart D+C’s thoughts and ideas on design were on point. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hart D+C.

Rory Is a true gent, knowlegable, professional, met every deadline and gave 100% to the project If you want beautiful bespoke design look no further. Not cheep but worth every penny.

Hart Design and Construction's projects are always very spectacular, unique and a joy to capture. They make up the bulk of my high-end interiors photography portfolio and the team is always easy to work with, understanding the quality over quantity aspect of interior photography.

I have decided to work together with Hart Design & Construction on my project "Skies in a Room" because I love what I have seen in their own projects on Houzz. They have done a great job on challenging remodels and extensions. I really like that they use traditional building methods and a sustainable building approach. On my project, they have been easy to work with and always professional. I can wholeheartedly recommend them and would work together with them again anytime.
