Founded by designer Curtis Popp and based in Northern California, CPopp Workshop is a small furniture design and manufacturing company on a mission to produce thoughtful modern pieces. Popp has been producing custom, one-of-a-kind pieces for homes, boutiques and other businesses across California for nearly a decade. His work has been featured in Interior Design, Dwell, and Interni & Décor magazines. “Furniture is a natural progression for me as a designer,” Popp said. “I’ve created many site specific furniture pieces for my space clients, and I felt it was time to take this step,” he added. Handcrafted by local artisans, every piece is made to order with a wide range of colors, species and finishes. “The craftsmanship that goes into these pieces must be celebrated,” Popp said. “There’s something honorable about it being handmade, celebrating the imperfections of the wood and the crudeness of the hand welding.” Curtis Popp studied design at the California College of the Arts, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture.
