MLC is the only kitchen and bath remodeling company I would ever use. Their workmanship is second to none. I am a kitchen designer who has worked with them for years and when it came time to remodel my own kitchen I did not hesitate on who would do the work. MLC is the best !!

MLC recently completed a major kitchen renovation and several other upgrades to our home. If I could give these guys 6 stars I would. Great work, a pleasure to work with, on time, reliable, clean and neat. They gave me a work schedule and kept to it religiously. This was a relatively small but somewhat complex complete kitchen remodel that included changes to walls, electrical, tile and plumbing. They handled all the moving parts flawlessly! Can't wait to use them again to remodel my bathrooms.

I had my kitchen remodeled by MLC a little more than a year ago and it was done superbly-I couldn't be happier. In the ensuing months, the heat and weather changes caused some shifting in my solid wood cabinet doors so that they don't close cleanly. I called MLC to ask how I can adjust them and they came out the next day and made the door adjustments - free of charge and showed my what I need to do when it happens again. Now that is going way beyond normal customer service. You can't go wrong with MLC!

Beware - a picture says a thousand words! I hired this company for my 25 yr old custom made solid oak cabinets. The owner herself did the consult & claimed to replace them would cost $25k as they were in excellent shape & only suffered from years of use; not abuse. She had a solution & I trusted her. Not only did they rehang every door crooked, three months later, her solution started coming off & they looked horrible. Trying to deal with them was painful so I finally had to hire an attorney & their own insurance company agreed that they had completely ruined my cabinets. There is much more aggravation to this situation. I was reimbursed by their insurance company, but after several attempts to collect their $500 deductible which they are responsible, I am filing with Smalls Claims Court.Beware - a picture says a thousand words. I hired this company

Ms. Glockner’s review is not a review of MLC Associates or Age in Place CT. Ms. Glockner has never contracted with either company to do remodeling work in her home. I am disappointed that HOUZZ has allowed her to leave these remarks here on this page.

Several years ago my partner and I owned a franchise called N-Hance Wood Renewal and Ms. Glockner was a customer of that company. N-Hance is a refinishing service providing customers who are not in the market for a new kitchen, the ability to spruce up their existing cabinetry. We owned the franchise for a 5-year term before deciding not to renew our license at the end of 2014. Please feel free to google N-Hance Wood Renewal reviews and see how satisfied most customers are.

When refinishing cabinetry, bonding is critical and often, in high wear areas, the bond needs to be touched up after the first application. You cannot always tell when the finish is wet if there is an area of high wear that the bond needs fortification. In addition, with the change of seasons in CT, solid wood doors will expand and contract and will sometimes slip out of alignment. Both are issues that are simple and easy to fix. When we completed Ms. Glockner’s job in May of 2014, she contacted us about these issues. We tried on several occasions to set up an appointment with her to correct them unsuccessfully. She told us she was very busy and just did not have the time. We were successful in setting up one appointment, which she subsequently cancelled.

In December of 2014, we closed the business. In January of 2015, Ms. Glockner decided she now had the time to set up an appointment with us. Unfortunately, because N-Hance is a franchise, we had no ability to purchase the product necessary to fix her issue because we were no longer a franchisee. Our only alternative to this situation, was to contact the insurance company that handled that business.

Twenty 5-star reviews on this page is a testament to the quality work and customer service you will receive when you hire MLC/AIP. We will always do our very best by each customer we are lucky enough to have. We are very sorry about the unavoidable situation with Ms. Glockner however, she now has a brand-new kitchen courtesy of our insurance company. Hopefully she will find some solace in that.

We love our new kitchen! The incredibly stressful process of remodeling our kitchen was made much better with the help of Matt and Corrine. From start to finish, Matt and his crew made us feel at ease with the entire process. Nothing was left to chance from the floors to the cabinetry and countertops to the appliances and all of the trim work. Everything was completed to perfection. We would recommend them to anybody and we already have.

We used MLC for a bathroom remodeling project to accommodate my wife’s disability. We needed the function, but also wanted an attractive design with high end components. Matt was terrific. He came to the initial consultation at the house and demonstrated the kind of knowledge, flexibility and experience we were looking for. He had a clear understanding of ADA requirements and what would work best. We picked out the components and tile, and left town for 4 weeks, leaving the entire project to Matt and Corrine. They are a great team….and managed everything, including vendor deliveries and regular communications on all the little questions that came up. When we came back, the bathroom was complete (right on schedule), beautiful, and the house clean. When we determined we needed to relocate one of the grab bars and add a towel bar it was no problem – Matt came back and took care of everything. Quality, experience, honesty, trustworthy and a fair price…a great combination. We will use MLC for another project this fall.

I had my kitchen done several years ago by MCL --have had many compliments on it and it fits so perfectly with my 1880 Victorian. . As a family with three schoolage athletic boys in our house we found it necessary to replace our kitchen. We hired MLC and they did a fantastic job on schedule and to the highest standard of craft! I was worried about the durability of the kitchen. The floor, cabinets and threat were installed solid, perfect, and on time. I would recommend MLC anytime. It's also nice to know all the guys on a first name basis. Thank you MLC!
