Holly is an amazing designer who truly understands colors and finishes on interiors as well as exteriors. I recently had a pleasure to work with Holly (Color Buzz Design) on a modern new construction house and she went above and beyond my expectations to deliver outstanding color spec for the entire project. Holly had an amazing sense of the color that would work on my house. She took the size of my house, the environment (trees, shrubs) and came up with a color combination I wouldn’t have dreamed of in a million years. My little 1940s cottage is now stunning thanks to Holly!

What an amazing experience it was to work with Holly. I totally recommend her to anyone needing help in deciding either exterior or interior color combinations for a home!! I initially contacted her to ask her about the pre-made color palettes she had on her Etsy page but she recommended me to go for a custom exterior color consult. I initially wasn’t so sure we needed that but I was so wrong. It was so totally worth the money and I’m extremely happy that we decided to move forward with it. Excellent service, clear and prompt communication, always on point with deadlines and she went above and beyond to triple check that the color combination would still work when the roofing contractor changed suppliers of the metal roof which in turn changed the roof color noticeably. I honestly did not know what to expect but she definitely exceeded all my expectations. Highly highly recommended!! Thanks again Holly so much for everything on this project. We are so very happy with the end result!

When my husband and I bought our new home this year, we knew right away there needed to be a change to the exterior. The roof shingles were brown, the gray trim had faded to a lavendery color and the brick, stone and mortar colors together just did not play well together. I knew I was out of my league in trying to decide what colors would do the trick. Then I found Holly with Color Buzz Designs and boy, was she ever worth the investment!!! I provided her with multiple close up photos of the home and she provided me with color palettes that were perfect for my house and gave me the confidence to move forward in such a costly update. The end result, I saved a ton of money on what I had originally planned by her guidance and my home went from a drab curb appeal to fresh and bright! (The photos don't do justice to what you see in person) The trim brought out the the uniqueness of the brick that I almost painted over and I still have some fun color options to play with in the future should we decide to change a shutter or front doors again. Holly truly cared and was amazing following up with our project too. Trust me, if you are looking to paint anything and are at a loss....HIRE HER NOW!!! She will simplify your decision and you will be thrilled with what she puts together. She understands the art of color combinations and she knows her paint and the best products to produce the best outcome!

We had to purchase (in a hurry) a particular kind of home in order to care for my mother. Once escrow closed I instantly regretted our purchase. Holly and her colors fixed all that!! She has a passion for her craft, exceptional product/color knowledge, and the best customer service that I have encountered of any home professional. The long version if you would like to keep reading: We hired a very well-known exterior design company to help us choose colors. I was provided with a computer rendering, which looked like a fine plan digitally. HOWEVER, in reality, the paint scheme did not coordinate with fixed elements. The house was a wreck! I contacted Holly (after the owner of Ace Hardware recommended her services, as he had used Color Buzz on his own home). I had painters at the house and was in a panic. From the first phone call, she stepped in to help. She thoughtfully designed a new color palette that made our home shine. Unlike the first company, she reached out with continued support and guidance as the project continued. I felt like she cared about the house like it was her own home. One of her texts literally read, "I want to make this perfect for you." I would recommend this company 1000% if you are looking for an exceptional experience.

Holly has a talent like no other. She doesn’t ‘wing it’ by any means. she knows her stuff and dives deep into details and comes back with great suggestions. Why stand in front of a sea of samples when you can have an expert help you on site. We have already recommended her several times.
