I have had the pleasure of working with Colleen on several projects over the years and wouldn't use anyone else! Her professionalism is first-class, she has an abundance of ideas, is very respectful of budgets, and has great patience with my ideas and choices......she'll give an honest opinion but works with my decisions (whether she agrees or not!!). You can't go wrong hiring Colleen, she's wonderful.

Last September (2016) my fiancée and I purchased our first home. Coming from a smaller downtown condo we realized we had a lot of space to fill – a daunting task! My fiancée had previously worked with Colleen to furnish his condo so it was a natural decision for us to work with her again. Colleen did an amazing job translating our visions into reality! My fiancée and I have very different tastes when it comes to interior design, but Colleen knows her stuff. After our initial meeting in the new space, and hearing what we were inspired by, Colleen presented us with an amazing proposal. She always provides a few options from different retailers for consideration, but my fiancée and I always agreed that Colleen’s first picks for us were what we wanted too. She nailed it! Colleen helped us transform an empty house into our new home (and stayed on budget!). I would recommend Colleen to anyone and will certainly be working with her again.

Colleen created a beautiful sanctuary in our master bedroom. It's absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I wanted Colleen worked with my existing furniture and added her special touch to pull it altogether. I highly recommend her services.

I hired Colleen during my House renovation and have continued to use her services over the years. She was quick to understand my sense of style and made the perfect recommendations for me every time. She offered just enough selection of fabric choices to give me options without making it overwhelming to make a decision. Five years ago, Colleen (Select Interiors) helped us redecorate the living room of our family home. At that time she helped us choose suitable furniture that would eventually fit into a smaller condominium. When we bought a 1,640 sq. ft. two bedroom brand new condominium, we employed Colleen as soon as we got the plans. She put together drawings room by room to scale. When we had our meeting to choose condo finishes - flooring, tiles, kitchen finishes, counter tops, fixtures etc., Colleen accompanied us and helped us make appropriate choices. She went with us for our initial inspection and soon after we met again to discuss suppliers for our furniture, lighting, window covering etc. She was always available to discuss any ideas we had and always had an eye for detail and co lour. We required a few pieces like a server and bar unit to be custom made - she designed and supervised the construction of these. She has always been organized, professional and up to date with her billing. Colleen has been a pleasure to work with. We love the look of our new condo

In terms of design and functionality, the end product was exceptional. Her advice and judgment was top tier throughout. As a person, Colleen was also a pleasure to work with throughout the process. Very professional and effective approach for working with you. Spent a lot of time upfront understanding my needs, preferences and priorities before coming up with alternatives. Has a great sense for how the overall package fits together across your home. Was totally transparent and upfront about fees with no "suprises". Respected my budget and worked creatively around it to get the best quality available instead of trying to upsell me. Very good at coordinating everything from vendors. It's a very time efficient red carpet experience for the customer once you've picked what you like. I plan on using Colleen again for add-on projects in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for high work quality at great value, as well as an efficient and transparent process from start to finish.

Colleen Mackay was extremely helpful with our recent renovation. Colleen Mackay of Select Interiors has been our decorator 'extraordinaire' for over twenty years and has provided excellent decorating advice for three homes (one that included a major & costly kitchen and main floor renovation). She has also assisted with the purchase of custom made office furniture for our business as well as the décor of the office space. She is the only decorator I would consult for our needs! She has impeccable taste and knowledge when choosing paint colours, fabrics, furnishings, lighting, countertops, tiles, finishes, etc., but more importantly, she truly possesses the gift of 'knowing' her customers and their tastes. Colleen is always mindful of her client's budget and is willing to assist with even the smallest of jobs. For example, once I only needed her assistance with choosing the exterior colour of 'new' stucco for our house and Colleen happily provided this service. We recently purchased a brand new home and Colleen has assisted us with every step of this tedious project - from amending the floor plans of the rooms (the builder allowed us to make changes to the layout of the house) to the selection of hardwood flooring, countertops & plumbing fixtures. This job is still ongoing. No detail is too small or insignificant for Colleen. She is extremely organized and runs her business in the utmost professional manner. She is prompt to reply to any questions or concerns and is easily reached by email or phone. She is eager to take her clients to reputable suppliers and to pass on any customer loyalty discounts. I have been impressed with Colleen's knowledge and choice of the absolute best suppliers and custom trades people whom she has recommended. We have never been disappointed with any purchase or decorating outcome that Colleen has been involved with. She is polished and possesses the unique skill of making people feel excited and secure with their decorating decisions. Colleen is an all round exceptional, fine person who will be a great asset to any individual or organization. I would highly recommend Colleen of Select Interiors for any job, large or small.

Colleen is an amazing person to work with as she first and foremost listens. She has a tremendous flare for what is current but will work around your comfort zone. She will not follow trends if these do not suit your style but she will bring the ‘unexpected’ into the project – the surprise that you will love! Colleen has much passion and enthusiasm in everything she does and you know she strikes when it gives her goose bumps! The one lesson I learnt from Colleen is that as long as it sparkles, we are on the right track! And that says a lot about her personality.

My experience with Select Interiors was terrific! When we moved from our house to a condo Colleen helped us to figure out how to incorporate our furniture into the new space, pick new furniture pieces to complement the existing, get appropriate wall coverings so our view of downtown Toronto wasn't compromised (a big must!!), select some incredible area carpets, select paint colours, etc. etc. Since then Colleen has helped us with getting a new countertop and backsplash in the kitchen and we're working with her now to add the finishing touches to a recent bathroom renovation. She has an incredible eye for what works and what doesn't. She's up-to-date with current styles, colours and trends. She's respectful of budget. She has an extensive network of contacts. She definitely comes highly recommended!!
