A Fine Tuned Room / Jan Coffman Interiors

Jan has an excellent vision and helped us design a very functional and beautiful kitchen. She took the time to listen to our wants and concerns and guided us through the whole stressful process of gutting our kitchen and doing a complete renovation on a limited budget. While keeping in mind both design and budget, she made recommendations to accommodate both my husband and my differences in tastes and vision. Jan was able to integrate both of our styles and create a very comfortable atmosphere that allows us to entertain family and friends. She offered us suggestions that went out of our comfort zone, but once our kitchen renovation was done, we could not have been happier. Not only did Jan offer color and design recommendations, she excelled at those finishing touches. We learned to trust her and in the end, it worked out perfectly.

My wife and I began to redecorate our home and realized we could not pull everything together to create the warm and inviting space we wanted. We asked around for an interior decorator and heard good things about Jan; the owner of A Fine Tuned Room. As soon as we met Jan we knew that she was the one to help us. My wife liked her decorating ideas and I liked the straightforward way she explained the way we would be billed for her work. We are glad we found her and would do it again. Jan took our ideas and combined them with her vision to make our home much more comfortable and cozy than we ever expected. Not only did Jan exceed our expectations as a designer, she is also very personable and has become our friend!

Jan re-imagined my Kitchen, Living room, and Dining room. She provided fantastic ideas for the flooring, wall colorings, furniture,and décor of the various areas. She has demonstrated great patience as she lead me thru this process and really delivered. I threw her several curves and delays and it still came out great. I trust her completely and would recommend her anyone. I couldn't be happier.

Jan is quite talented and knowledgeable about products and design concepts. She spent time discussing my likes and wants and was able to make decisions based on my budget. She is able to keep many balls in the air at one time. I have recommended her to family members and friends. Everyone that has hired her has been quite pleased with the results. She is able to do an entire house or a room at a time. I have hired her to do three different homes of mine.

Jan Coffman,A Fine Tuned Room, is the professional we called to have come in and ‘fix’ the disaster made by our previous contractor that had no idea what he was doing. We were so devastated by the 1st contractor and so nervous about allowing someone else into our home, but Jan set us at ease right away. She was very patient, understanding, and knowledgeable in what needed to be done. Jan has wonderful insight in knowing what the customer truly wants and works on a budget to achieve that special look and in a timely manner. So, it only stood to reason when we purchased a rental home that we called Jan a second time for assistance. Again, she never failed us. She turned a ‘plain jane’ house into a wonderful inviting home. We started with the living room and kitchen by making subtle, but very noticeable improvements. When she got to the bathroom, it was almost a gut job. Although very small, the bathroom turned out beautifully. We couldn't be happier and would not hesitate in recommending Jan for any job you have to tackle, big or small, inside or out. We can’t say enough about Jan, so in short, have to say she is amazing and worth your while!! It means a lot when you can say you have gained a true friend AFTER a renovation.
