I studied architecture at The University of Florida and spent several years practicing architecture in New York before settling in Austin. Professional and creative, Charlie designed a remodel to our home that exceeded our expectations and vision, and he continued to be a part of the project all the way until the end of construction. He has our highest recommendation, and we plan to work with him on future projects.

Charlie designed a casita for our backyard. He guided us through the design process, took care of permitting, and advocated for us during construction to make sure we were happy with the end result. He's passionate about his trade and really incorporated our collective vision into the project. He's a pleasure to work with.

We worked with Charlie on our home remodel this past summer and can't recommend him enough. We needed to transform our 60s style galley kitchen and tiny living area into a more usable space. He was patient throughout the process and went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the design. All of his plans were detailed and organized for the general contractor and team, which really expedited the project. Charlie came up with creative solutions for our layout and budget, and gave us many ideas we would have never thought of on our own. He's a friendly guy to work with and we love our new space!

Charlie is a great guy to work with because he is a one man show, and not only is he very skilled at drawing and experienced in dealing with the city, but he also has the resources to devote to working very closely with you on smaller projects. So if you have felt neglected or unimportant before working with larger firms this is the place to go!

Charley was the absolute right fit for our remodel of a 1970s home. Upfront, he listened closely to our needs and had helpful suggestions for retrofitting the space. My husband and I were very pleased with his design. Our contractor readily carried out the work specified. Charley gave the project a lot of personal attention; throughout the build-out, he continued to give input and visit the site. I highly recommend him for his architectural know-how and client relational skills. EXAMPLE: Charley designed a large screened porch for us to fit an existing patio slab. Cedar and fir were used along with a metal roof. The structure is beautiful and rustic and even more amazing than we had hoped for. Very, very pleased with what he envisioned.

Charles is extremely professional. He designed our upstairs addition, and we are now living in our dream house! The transition between the existing house and addition is seamless. Charles listened to all of our needs and wishes, and the result is a perfect blend of functionality and beauty. We highly recommend him.
